  Self catering serviced apartments in York.

  We stayed in the Victoria apartments for 2 nights. The apartment was a very good size with one double / twin bedroom but there was also a double bed settee in the large living / dining / kitchen area. There was also a very good size bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you might need for self catering. If you are driving there you can use a free secure parking space, but these are limited to first come first served so get in early.

  Lovely stay, had a room with a river view, breakfast was self service buffet, great pastries and yoghurts, good choice, the breakfast team were really welcoming and helpful to some of the older customers. The hotel was clean, there was a fan which kept the room cool in the heatwave, would stay here again if in York

  Great location to stay in York as the hotel is located riverside on a street called Queens Staith. Very close to the Ouse Bridge, convenient for a walk to many attractions. The hotel has its own carpark that is at risk of flooding, hotel signs emphasise parking is at owner's risk (so keep an eye on weather conditions).Our room had a king size double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a step in shower.There is a non slip mat provided, however additional handrails would benefit shower users.The bedroom was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our stay included Breakfast and evening dinner. The daily menu had good options. We enjoyed all our meals.The staff were very pleasant.

  The Queen Hotel is a well established hotel with a great location, its by the Ouse bridge, lots of the rooms are right on the side of the river with beautiful views of the bars, restaurants and York. The staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and tidy, good restaurant and great food. Small bar but good lounge with balcony. Secure parking under the hotel, but there is a cost to park but book in early to reserve a bay. We have stayed here 4 times now and never been disappointed.
