    There were people in the parking lot congregating and coming-going all day and night. None of the exterior doors actually locked. Smell of pot fuming from many rooms. Appears that people are full time residents, kids on bikes and scooters.Don’t recommend to anyone traveling alone.

    This is not a hotel you want to stay at. It was not clean or well-kept. There was hot water and plenty of towels, but that's about all you get.

    Located DIRECTLY under landing flight path jets into ATL airport

    Most TV channels #1107 do not work. I cleaned MOLD off bathtub/shower fixtures. This Days Inn is located DIRECTLY under landing flight path of low flying jets landing at Atlanta airport - Noise level very high, wave at the pilots. "Breakfast snack" was just a prepackaged muffin, coffee or hot tea. Our room's front door did not lock securely - bring a personal hotel door lock. Really, just find a better place to stay.

    I did not have an experience because I CHOSE TO LEAVE. I planned to stay at this hotel because I had an early morning flight and I did not want my sister or her family to wake up at 4:00 AM to drop me off at the airport. Unfortunately, things did not go the way i envisioned , Now before I describe those issues, I would like to point out I had excellent customer service. The representative that assisted me was helpful during the check in and refund process. Ultimately, I decided to leave because of the following issues:1. My room reeked of smoke (a mixture of cigarette/cigar) and other unidentifiable odors.2. The room was NOT cleaned: I saw dead bugs and pubic hairs on the sheets and the mattresses were stained and looked nasty3. The bathrooms were unsanitary - the tub was not clean and had red marks and cigarette burn stains.4. My hotel door would not close properly NOR securely lock.5. Some of the guests that were outside appeared to be tweakers, sex workers, etc. and they tried to solicit my family members as we attempted to re-load my belongings into the car.After observing all of this, I decided to leave. The Days Inn representees indicated that they can put me in another room. However, I decided to obtain a refund. The representative was helpful in this process by advising me on the refund process (I booked through hotels.com) and I did receive this refund.Lesson: Check your reviews. Also ensure that your hotel is in a safe environment.
