    Don't stay here if you are a sports team!

    We booked two nights because of games at Lakepoint. The games kept being pushed back because of of heavy rains and lightning. We were told there would be a third game the next day, so we extended our stay. Hours later, they canceled the third game so we tried to cancel our reservation for the third night, but we were told "no" because the reservation was made the same day...what? This hotel is all about making money and not taking care of their guests. I hope the sports teams read this and decide to stay somewhere else in the future.

    Room smelled like someone had smoked in it, then covered it up with air freshener. Curtains were ripped. Bits of trash on the floor. Walls and furniture heavily damaged. Remote control was sticky. Manager was unhelpful in resolving.

    This hotel is in poor shape. Stains on carpet, broken towel bar in bathroom, ice machine not working, no hot water for shower in morning, vending machine on main floor empty, water cooler in lobby empty upon arrival and still empty upon departure. A rundown and not well run hotel.

    Clean hotel, befuddled front desk

    Comfort Inn was clean and quiet with comfortable beds. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection kept filled by a great host.The front desk was a disaster. The night people were not well trained and could not solve any issue. We had to go 3 times to the desk to straighten out the charges. Disappointing. Will not stay there the next time we are in town.

    The rooms were spacious and clean. The evening and morning staff were very cordial.The facility was basic: no pool; no business office: and a tiny breakfast area. It sat about 16 people. Some seats could not see the TV.The morning hostess (who also served as the desk worker) was quite conscientious. The hot portion of the breakfast, however, was very disappointing. The eggs were tasteless, and the bacon needed three more minutes in the microwave. Those strips were inedible.I would call this facility: “Choice Inn Light.” It reminded me of one, but it lacked the extras.
