    The room was shoddy at first glance, but we were willing to give it a shot. The lights didn’t work, so we didn’t notice how much mold was covering everything at first. I was tired and ready to hit the sack, so I jumped in the shower while my wife and son ate a quick dinner before bed. There was quite a bit of mold and pubic hair on the shower curtain. Photos don’t do it justice. I got out of the shower and noticed the linoleum floors were strangely greasy. I noticed the lamp was unplugged, and when I plugged it in, was horrified at the furry mold and mildew on the lampshade. My wife threw back the covers and lo and behold, mouse pills! By the time we got all our stuff out of there, it was past the ten minute refund window, but no way we’re we going to stay. The manager told me I was lying about the mouse pills and mold, even though I showed him these photos. I have stayed in some rough spots all over the world, but the Econo Lodge in Lithonia, GA is one of the worst.

    I stayed here once before and it was average at best. I stayed here again because of the good price and convenience. The room was disgusting, there were cigarette ashes on the bathroom floor, the towels were stained, and one one the beds had hair on the pillow. To add insultt to injury, the clientele at this location is sketchy. Alll through the nught I was awakened by loud cars in the parking lot. First thing in the morning I woke up to the smell of weed seeping through the door which was not properly insulated.

    I wish I could rate a no star. It was a horrible experience and I will never again come here. It's all a lied when it comes to the pictures on the profile and in the back side of the hotel is a different story. 1st when it comes to the cleaning staff, they are dress unprofessional, wearing sandals, and booty shorts. 2nd the rooms where dirty and especially when it comes to the bathrooms, which where cover in hairs, the bathroom doors where broken. In the parking lot there was food and trash behind the hotel. By the way did I mention that there was a shooting at the hotel at 3:30am, and there was people yelling and arguing and also they were smoking pot around the room that when you came to realize your room started to smell like it because of the air conditioner. My family rented out the hotel because of the reviews and it was all a lied and we had such a horrible experience. We were a family of 15 and we had children with us. Hopefully someone will do something about this hotel or they shut it down completely. Please do not book this hotel you will have a terrible experience.

    It’s a basic Econolodge room that has been updated. It was clean and quiet. No coffee in room which is a drawback. It does allow pets which is helpful. Had a chair and coffee table with reading light.

    The hotel room itself was clean and newly renovated however the stay was unpleasant do too disrespectful staff that works in the front office during my stay employee "Hiren" was very very rude and because of him I will never ever stay here again
