    Fantastic customer service from Carlos on the front desk, as well as housekeeping. Delighted with the room size - plenty of space to stretch out and avoid stumbling over suitcases. Carlos could not have been more helpful. Bathroom was also great. Liked the local town too. Very friendly. Recommend 246 Italian restaurant. We went twice.

    From beginning to end the stay was well above average. The room was very clean and updated. The front desk staff excellent. The kitchen servers could not be any more attentive. Parking is convenient. Elevators prompt. Lobby bright and welcoming.

    I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member. As such I enjoy staying at different properties across Hilton's portfolio. On a visit to the Atlanta area, I chose this location for its proximity to a MARTA rail station as well as being diagonally across the street from Teriyaki Madness.As I always do, I did online check-in and room selection via the Hilton app the day before arrival.Staff at the front desk was cordial and professional. The hotel was bright and welcoming in public areas, and my chosen room was spacious and inviting. No issues with TV, WiFi, nor climate control. I got good night of sleep. Bathroom had plenty of space for my toiletries, and there were no problems with hot water.Street was fairly quiet, but my suite being in the rear (facing parking garage) might have had something to do with the lack of noise.Breakfast was OK....spoken from non-breakfast person. It was quick and easy, and the fare was typically what is expected of a Hampton Inn.If in Decatur or in the Atlanta area near MARTA trains, I definitely recommend this property.

    Bed bugs be aware

    In August 2025, I checked into my room to visit a friend who was staying in town. The next morning, I noticed severe itching that persisted throughout the day. After spending a second night in the room, I woke up to find that the itching had returned. Upon inspection, I discovered bites on my chest extending to my left arm. I informed the front desk, and they moved me to a different room, but unfortunately, the issue continued. After seeing the doctor the next day, I realized that I had been bitten by bedbugs.
