  I never write reviews but maybe this will prompt the management team to check behind housekeeping. This hotel walking in looked clean. It was disgusting. We no were giving one room and the entire hall wreaked of weed and then the smell started coming into our room. The room was filthy food was stuck on the dressers and the bathroom floors were disgusting. The second room was disgusting; toilet seat has poop stuck on seat and top of toilet. Hair was in the shower the bathroom was disguting!!! The toilet was stopped up. The towels were dirty. Dishes had old food stuck to them. The problem is people don’t care about it there jobs! It cost too much to go into a hotel and be worried about cleanliness!! I closed the door to the bathroom and it was the dirtiest. This is how people get sick going into these places because the workers don’t care about cleanliness! I was the most disappointed because we were extremely tired and had to leave! Do better! I would fire every housekeeper on that help prepare the rooms for 4pm check in!!!   As always our room at Home2 was spacious and clean. In the kitchen area of this room was the first time I've ever had a refrigerator that was not full-sized. It was under the cabinet, but with equally large freezer and refrigerator sides. It worked well for the frozen foods we had. The pull-out couch bed was the most comfortable of all three Home2s I've slept on during my multi-city roadtrip. It was almost as comfortable as the actual bed. One issue with the actual bed was that the bedframe was sticking out on one side. We slammed our shins into it a few times. It did not feel good. The lobby of this hotel has neutral tones and modern lighting fixtures. Slightly different that the bright multi-cored patterns of most Home2s. I prefer this pallet. It's more sophisticated. This area also serves as breakfast seating. For our two mornings, the breakfast was great! Hot eggs, bacon, sausage and various breads. Jasmine in the breakfast area was always so cheerful. She said hello to everyone and ensured that the area was clean and well-stocked. They don't use real cutlery or plates at this Home2. I wish all Home2s would resort back to using actual dishes and cutlery. It cuts down on so much waste. There was always iced, fruit-infused water available in the lobby along with coffee and tea. A special treat was on each floor and in the gym- it was an on-demand water dispenser. It offered cold, room temperature and carbonated water. I loved having fresh seltzer available. It really soothed my stomach after a greasy, but absolutely delicious late lunch at The Varsity. The outdoor common areas included a pool and a BBQ area with seating. We didn't make use of either, but other people did. There's also a gazebo on the far side of the parking lot. This is a designated smoking area. People made sure to smoke their pot under the gazebo, unfortunately some people also smoked near the BBQ area. The gym was well-equipped with various machines. It had people in it throughout the day. For the most part, the hotel looked and smelled very clean. The rooms were clean, but if you look hard some of the common areas could use a deep cleaning. The track of the elevator doors need to be vacuumed, the hallway rugs need a good shampooing and the lobby level hallways need a good mopping. If I ever return to Atlanta, I would not hesitate to stay at this Home2. It is dog friendly and I especially like the doggie treats, and human treats, that Jasmine presented to me upon checking in. There are two Jasmines at this hotel and they are both people-oriented. The price I paid for my room for two nights was well worth it, though I wish the dog fee was less than $75.   The rooms are shabby and outdated. The sheets were worn thin and the pillows weren't very good. The hotel seemed unkempt. The breakfast was ok.   The beds were very comfy even the pull out couch. This is one of the very few Hilton in which the floor is still dry after you shower. I would have rated it 5 stars except on the last day of our stay the waffle batter tasted as if it was spoiled.
