  Don’t rely on the shuttle service

  I booked this hotel because I needed an easy place to stay after taking a red eye into Atlanta, the price was pretty cheap so I wasn’t expecting 5 star accommodations, the hotel itself was fine if a little run down in places. The biggest disappointment was the 24/7 free shuttle service from the airport. Firstly, there was was a lack or information on how the shuttle service worked. There was old information in previous reviews that stated it just ran on the half hour from the hotel. That seemed unlikely but I legitimately couldn’t find any information. I reached out to the hotel and they told me to call when we got to baggage claim. When I called I was first told there were no other reservations coming in and was I sure I was at this hotel. After some brief confusion regarding my married vs maiden name, I was told to make my way to the hotel shuttle pick up area which is maybe a 5 minute walk from baggage claim. My husband and I waited for another 20 minutes before another hotel shuttle driver took pity on us and said he would take us for a tip. It was a nice $20 for him. When we got to the hotel the front desk clerk was less than apologetic. After a late night flight, a long walk through the airport and all the bathrooms in the terminal being closed it was just the cherry on top.   Service in 5/5. They are so darn friendly and helpful. But the good reviews stop there. Room was blah. Tv didn’t work. Lobby was run down.   Wait to stay until the renovation is done

  Close to the airport and part of the IHG group which we like. But, what they do not tell you is that the hotel is a little run down. The restaurant is not fully available because of remodeling and renovations. Limited menu and plastic silverware. While the linens and bed are nice and our room is clean, the window seals have failed so you cannot see out, the curtains are kind of in shreds. The staff is very pleasant and the bartender is very nice. But, I think they should just shut the place down and get the renovation done.   Needs some TLC

  Stayed here on a layover. Thought we’d use this hotel as restaurants within easy walking. They don’t pick up from the international terminal, so that’s chewing on with the bus from terminal to domestic or getting an Uber!Rooms are tired and dated and need a good clean. Lots of stains on walls and furniture .Bar service depends if the bar tender can be bothered to get off here phone to serve you! Believe me she doesn’t rush!!Breakfast quality is poor. Food seems like it stayed there for a while.Personally, I’m not returning! IHG you can do so much better!!   I would rather sleep standing up

  This place is showing its age but the worst part are the mattresses. It’s like laying on a concrete bench with a sheet on it. If your goal is to get a good nights rest, avoid this place.
