    Dirty rooms and horrible customer service

    **DO NOT STAY HERE** If you don't want to stay in a Motel 6 like Hotel don't stay here. Rooms are very dirty. They don't clean rooms after previous guest leaves. Entire Motel smells of weed and roaches throughout property. Worst Front Desk service ever. They'll blame you for their rooms and Motel being very dirty. Also you see nothing but drug dealers and smokers all throughout Motel. Very creepy and scary. Definitely not safe for families with children/elderly members. Police is always hanging out in parking lot. If you want GREAT SERVICE and CLEAN ROOMS. Book the Comfort Inn Suites at Ballpark. I've reported this dump Motel to Choice and the BB.     This Comfort Inn and its "staff" combined for the worst hotel experience I've had in over fifty years of extensive business and personal travel the world over.Things got off to a bad start during our Friday evening check-in when the woman behind the desk refused to speak with me. She insisted I talk to the "machine," an automated kiosk where a human (AI generated?) image appeared on a monitor. Despite not being comfortable with this check-in process and requesting this be done by a real hotel staff person, she refused. I was told either use the automated system or I would not be checked-in.I eventually did get a key from the kiosk to a room located immediately next to a busy door/stairwell, despite having requested a "quiet" room. Back down to the desk where once again the desk clerk refused to talk to me, and directed me back to the kiosk. This time I got a room bounded by an elevator, ice and vending machines, entry doors from the parking lot, and across from the door to the pool. Back down to the desk to talk to a manager, but the same unhelpful woman said there were none available. She seemed to find the whole situation amusing.Figuring this was futile and with a tight schedule that evening, I decided to accept this second room. When I walked in to the room, the smell of cigarettes and urine were immediately noticeable. After returning from our engagement that evening, I opened the sliding glass balcony door to air out the room, only to find the balcony was filthy and had several cigarettes butts on it. Also found hair in the shower.We spent very little time in the room Sat, not returning until around midnight. When I went down to breakfast the next (Sunday) morning, I stopped to get a cup of "lemon infused" ice water from a cooler across from the desk. In addition to the water, I also got what I thought initially was a dead fly, but turned out to be mold (see photo.) Having been put off eating there, we decided to just check-out and eat elsewhere. Knowing I was going to file complaints over this stay, when we checked out I asked for a receipt to prove I had stayed there. This too was refused, the reason given being since I had booked/pre-paid the room through a travel website they had nothing to give me. Never have I ever been refused a receipt or some kind of paperwork if requested as proof of stay at a hotel. This is documentation I would have had to submit with a travel voucher when business traveling.The following week I contacted Choice Hotels' corporate guest relations. I was told they couldn't help me until I contacted and filed a complaint with the travel site where I'd booked the room. I was instructed to get back to Choice after talking to the travel site. Much to my surprise, the folks at this site were far more helpful than anyone at the property itself or Choice corporate. The site did refund a portion of the stay costs, but the best Choice could do was offer frequent guest points and assure me they took my complaints very seriously. I declined the offer since I plan never to stay in another Choice hotel.     Great location, good value for your money, staff is professional, friendly, responsive just what you would expect from hospitality professionals! Property is well maintained.. going through renovations but they are not intrusive or loud.     Water Leaks and Bugs

    Do not stay at the Comfort Inn Roswell-DunwoodyWe made a 2-night reservation with PRICELINE for this hotel over Labor Day weekend. We left after the first night becausewater leaking through the ceilingbugs in the roomhuge bugs all over the hotel (roaches, grasshoppers, etc.)Unrepaired wall damageWe asked both the Comfort Inn Roswell-Dunwoody and PRICELINE for a refund for the 2nd night but were told that this was not possible. We will not use this hotel or PRICELINE ever again.     I Booked the room online, I check-in and was given a key to room 126… the room smelled of mildew and trash was on the floor… the desk attendant offered me another room … this room was clean until you reach the bathroom… the carpet was extremely filthy leading to the room and it smelled of cigarettes and weed… they said my money would be back within 24hrs… it’s been 4 days.., so I guess I made a donation,,, Hotel Manager, Other at Comfort Inn Roswell-Dunwoody, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for posting your comments about your stay.
