    Red Light Special

    rating16 Oct 2021

This place deserves -10 stars! It is now called Rodeway Inn. It should be called Red Light Rooms. I barely got a wink of sleep all night thanks to the moaning and headboard banging until after 4 am, and the load yelling and door slamming a few rooms down the hall. I asked for a downstairs nonmoking room but the front desk clerk/owner denied having that request. She offered me a smoking room downstairs if I didn't want to do the stairs. That room reeked so badly that this senior lady with bad knees chose to drag my heavy suitcase up the stairs. Oh, and the stair tread edgers were falling apart and repaired with duct tape, as was the nearly empty juice machine! The ceiling panels right inside the door are just hanging. One of the lamps was inoperable. There was a dead bug on the floor by the headboard. The only good thing about this place is the beds and bathroom seemed clean and the water pressure is good. I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me to. It's one of the top 3 worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Don't be lured by the low room price. You want to stay far, far away from this place unless you want to join the line of johns at the next room.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!

    rating01 Jan 2018

Not secure...anyone off of the street can walk in. Doors unlocked and accessible with no security. Smelled of Drugs throughout. Did not get the non-smoking, King Room we paid for and requested. There was an extra $240 charged to our credit card with no explanations. We are non-smokers. Phone was not available when we called to dispute the bogus charges. Climate control did not turn off. Heat was on all night. Bath Tub was dirty. Absolutely worse conditions I have ever seen. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

DO NOT BOOK!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

    rating23 Jul 2017

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! We wanted to book a non-smoking room with a king sized bed and cable. He said there were none available and he put us in a "nonsmoking" double queen with cable. After just a few minutes in our room we demanded a refund. We opened the door to the room and or wreaked of tobacco and marijuana, we found the butt of a marijuana cigarette on the floor next to the bed. It was very dirty, the restroom was ridiculuously small, the covers were still wrinkled and not fresh as if they weren't washed after the previous guests. The television had no channels. The mini fridge was dirty and not cold at all. When we returned to the desk the worker lied by saying he couldn't give us our money back so we asked for a manager. He responded the manager was out of town. It wasnt until corporate was called and he told us to hang up and quickly gave us our money. Do not waste your time here. We booked a room with Days Inn on Glenn Club Drive and instead.

Need I say more? I am in recovery and try to practice principles today but this had me ready to call immigration, fbi, dea, cdc.... thankful I don't have to live like that any more these days and can forgive.

    A bad aroma

    rating18 May 2016

The room itself king was nice and spacious. The bathroom was very tiny with a broken toilet handle and stains in the tub and on the towels and walls. The light for the "vanity" was very dim and yellow. House keeping knocks on the door at 10:30 (check out is at 11) I said just a minute and they knocked louder and longer until I opened the door and told them I had not checked out. Breakfast....go to IHOP! They ask that you do not take food or drink to your rooms. Ummm...seriously!! They have a small fridge with a gallon of milk...a waffle iron with a water pitcher full of batter...and some pretty stale breads. The eating area is very very tiny. 2 small round tables put together and 5 chairs along with the "welcomearea" to sit. If there is a family eating you will be standing up trying to eat. There must be something wrong with the sewage...not too long before check out there was this HORRIBLE odor in the halls and in the bathroom...it smelt like a family of skunks. This is one place I will never walk in again and highly do not recommend!!! The only plus to this hotel was the 2 peopleAt the front desk were very nice.
