    One Night Was More Than Enough

    Very disappointed—thankful we only stayed one night. The room had a strong perfume smell that seemed to be masking a cannabis odor. The AC was loud and wouldn’t cool below 70, and the TV didn’t work.Cleanliness was a major issue: stained carpet and ceiling, sticky bathroom floors, and a shower I didn’t feel comfortable using. A “clean” towel used on the floor turned black, which says it all.Would not recommend staying here.     THIS HOTEL IS A NIGHTMARE !!!!

    NO!! NO!! NO!!We booked the room for seven days, Nov, Friday 28 through December 05.On the second night round 1:00 am we woke up and couldn’t sleep because the guest next to our room smoking marijuana. Due to health concerns, we have to check out around 2:30am and cancel the remaining days.This was one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had. The rooms and hallways were filthy, stains on the walls, dirty carpet that smelled like mildew, and constant cigarette and weed odors. We had a room with two queens. The room smelled like mildew and smoke. We had to air one out just to stay in it. Apparently hotel did not reinforce smoking policy.The towels were small and old. There are coffee but there is no Coffee machine. I asked for a new one. No one brought it to our room. Next day I went to the front desk and asked again, finally they gave a brand new one; However, it didn’t work either and they said it was the last one they had . The air conditioner in the room was broken, I went to the front desk to ask for maintenance again no one came. Housekeeping never showed up once during our week, no trash emptied, no cleaning, nothing..This hotel was dirty, poorly managed, lack of amenities that they claimed on the website. Fitness room has only three dumbbells out of one set, iced machine broken. Completely misrepresented online. It will be the last time we ever stay at a Sonesta Select.     Worst experience ever

    This hotel was listed with three stars, but I may not even rate it as 1 knowing the below problems.1. No microwave in the room.2. The room door lock not working well3. Less bathroom accessories, like no lotion4. Broken toilet paper handle.5. Spots in the ceiling over the bed.6. Most important- shampoo conditioner, and the bath wash dispenser not working. Nozzles from each of them were missing. I contacted the front desk and the housekeeping. Thru showed up after 30 minutes just to say that they don’t have other dispensers and only thing they can do is get out all the bottles from the stand and open the lid up in order to use itFront desk support was further rude.     Horrible stay

    This was one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had. The rooms and hallways were filthy, stains on the walls, dirty carpet that smelled like mildew, and constant cigarette and weed odors. We had connecting rooms with two queens, but the door between them was warped and hard to open or close. One room smelled like mildew, the other like smoke. We had to air one out just to stay in it.The towels were small, old, and didn’t feel clean, so we bought our own. No microwaves, both TVs were broken, and housekeeping never showed up once during our week, no trash emptied, no cleaning, nothing.Before arriving, I tried for days to confirm our booking through Interval International. The property was listed as a Courtyard Marriott, but it turned out to be a “newly renovated” Sonesta Select. The phone numbers online didn’t work, no one answered, and I had to call corporate just to confirm our reservation.The area felt sketchy with people loitering around outside for hours. There are no elevators, which wasn’t even the worst part. This hotel was dirty, poorly managed, and completely misrepresented online. It will be the last time we ever stay at a Sonesta Select, and the idea of buying a timeshare here is honestly frightening.     Broken furniture, BROKEN DOOR LOCK, stains on upholestry, very old and tiny TVs, painfully old and uncomfortable mattresses and mostly useless staff. Weed aromas penetrate the hallways and nothing is done to get those people who are violating the law out of the hotel.All four nights unauthorized vehicles were parked in handicapped spots. The kid at the front desk told me it was because they were over booked. Um, hello! That has nothing to do with me nor the law. They are not legally allowed to park in those spots and are reserved for people like me with a placard who NEEDS to park there. Even called the police but they refused to do anything because it was "private property". If you call the front desk, you're greeted with a bold faced lie about how the location is newly refurbished! Where?!??!?!? The hotel further lies to your face by advertising IN THE HOTEL a "Commons Restaurant" with bar... see my photos! The area that used to be a bar area hasn't been utilized since COVID says the staff.Manager was NEVER on property and decisions were left up to apprehensive staff with zero customer service training. Said decisions take forever to employ as it was painfully obvious the staff was too busy worried about getting in trouble over correcting problems.Location is in the middle of horrible traffic but is ok to navigate once you learn from GPS. This was the LEAST offensive part about the stay. I am currently disputing the charge as Priceline nor Sonesta is cooperating.
