Location

Thanks to its central location in Atlanta, this hotel is a perfect point of departure for discovering the area, ideal for for business travellers as well as families. It is approximately 19 km to Atlanta - William B.Hartsfield (ATL) Airport.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Services include a currency exchange service. Rooms

The sports and entertainment facilities at the hotel ensure that guests have plenty of activities to choose from during their stay. Excellent swimming awaits guests at the indoor pool. The pool bar serves a selection of refreshing drinks. After an eventful day, guests can work out and recharge in the gym.

    Noisy elevators and dated mechanicals can make sleep difficult at this can hotel

    This hotel seems to thrive on conference attendees who book here with a group booking without looking into the reviews. It has a few major issues that would make me look elsewhere next time.First and foremost, the design - it is a skinny tower where the centre is filled with elevators, with the rooms at the permitter. This means every room has a nice view of the city, but also that all rooms are right beside the elevators and their mechanical units. With so many elevators, noise is ever present in the rooms - particularly on the middle or potentially top floors near the mechanical spools. My first room was on 58th floor, and this caused an intermittent humming sound (mentioned in other reviews) that made it very difficult to sleep. When I raised it, the staff were well aware of this issue with many rooms - apparently it's much worse on other floors. I requested a change, and was moved to a lower floor (30s maybe?) further away from the spools and it was much quieter. Unfortunately that room had an air conditioner unit that sounded like a jack hammer (luckily the weather wasn't that hot when I was there). Still, if I had not been able to move from the first room, I would have gotten little sleep on the trip.Despite being a business hotel, I found wifi internet to be spotty in both rooms. I could never get it to stay connected on my phone.Rooms are a bit dated, but not much worse than any other Westin/Marriott property. Having a Starbucks coffee maker and mini fridge is nice.On the good side...- There's a full service Starbucks in the lobby. It can get very busy during the morning rush, but the staff are efficient and will get you out in 10 min or so.- There's a Fedex location in the lobby that makes it easy to receive packages... BUT, they charge a fee to receive packages, which is something many hotels do not.- Staff were all very helpful, even apologetic about the hotel. One mentioned they were planning a major renovation to deal with the elevator issues and likely update the rooms.- Location is good for attending conferences, but the immediate area can also feel a little sketchy. This and other hotels nearby are careful who they let into the lobby areas.     Dirty quilt was dirty

    This location it has nice entrance but the rooms are not clean the first night our blanket was dirty very disgusting it looks like shi… was there I call the manager of the housekeeping she was very nice and told me she was going to take care that night for us and I ask her to change my room we got change, the second room had hair all over the bathroom floor I came back to the hotel late I just left it like that but I will never come back here when you paying for a higher hotel you paying for clean room and place very disappointed.     This is a beautiful hotel and the location is perfect. Everything is close by. I ate in the Cafe and the breakfast buffet as well as the menu are both excellent. McKenzie in valet was so friendly and helpful. Zach at check in was very welcoming and professional. I would definitely stay here again.     Sundial Lounge amazing view

    We were intrigued by the Westin’s top level when viewed from the street and glad we checked it out! We arrived at the top by the glass elevator just in time for the red sunset to the west. Drinks at the lounge while our seats rotated gave us a wonder view of the lights of Atlanta. I had a $3 club soda and hubby had a tawny port. I’d recommend.

    Was here for 3 nights for a conference last week & make no mistake-it is a Westin in name only. Bellmen/valet at the entrance either engrossed in their phones & just invisible. Anything you could ask the front desk for, the answer will be no. $30 for a to go ceasar salad from the bar w/burned chicken-bartender Kaila initially ignored me & walked away when I approached her to even put in the order & when she brought it, she just put the bag on the counter in front of me & walked away w/o so much as a thank you (if she's wondering why she didn't get a tip, this might be the reason!). To get hot water in the bathroom sink, I had to run the shower @ the same time. When the AC isn't running in the room, there is a noticeable musty/stale cigarette smoke odor which speaks to how run down the rooms are. The door to the bathroom is the width of 1.5 hangers in the closet & even then the door doesn't open all the way because of the shower (yes, I measured it). For the first 2 nights I was there the hotel was literally over-run by teenage 'future global leaders'; getting on/off the elevators meant taking one's life in one's hands since these kids didn't stop for anything or anyone when barreling on/off. While the bed was comfortable, I was happy to leave & see no reason to return.
