  Nice hotel

  We had a late arrival on a Friday evening. The hotel is located right of the highway at an exit with plenty of restaurant choices. It is tucked off the main road and was a quiet hotel which was nice. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and texted us to make sure our room was good and we had everything we needed shortly after we checked in. This is a very nice touch!! The hotel and rooms are modern with plenty of room. The air conditioning worked really well in our room and the beds were nice and comfortable. I loved that there was a movable desk and chair that I was able to move in front of the mirror to do my hair and makeup. When many people have to get ready this is a real plus!! Most hotels do not have this. One complaint I had was that the shower floor is white and needed to be cleaned better “magic eraser” and there were dirty handprints on the door. My biggest complaint was that we had a do not disturb sign on the door and had not yet checked out. My husband and daughter had already gone to the car while I finished getting ready. I thought my husband was coming back because he had forgotten something but it was someone that worked there. She had not knocked and did not apologize for barging in my room. She was surprised someone was in the room, said oh my God, and ran out of the room. Thank goodness I had just gotten dressed.

  We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, lots of amenities. Quiet! The Staff is very kind. Chuck is amazing. Would definitely stay here again

  TRU Sucks but great staff.

  Negative- I’m Diamond and stay at Hilton’s all over. TRU is terrible. Basically it’s a king bed with his enough room to walk around. Nowhere to even put your luggage. Had to use the mini fridge and single small table to put our carryon sized suitcase on. If you have a regular size suitcase or any walking device- you’re not fitting in here. Literally. Walls were like paper and heard kids early am. Worst Hilton brand ever. POSITIVE : staff here are wonderful. Chuck in particular is great and helped us figure out where to park our huge vehicle.hotels very clean. Hilton’s trying to make the smallest, worst space to charge people for and make staff do everything with minimal staffing. Chuck made the stay good. Corporate greed taking people’s money at its worst. Not even a closet just useless pegs on walls. Dimple T, at Tru By Hilton Mcdonough, responded to this review Hello and thank you for your feedback.   Nice budget hotel in the suburbs of Atlanta!

  This place is modern. Very nice. Great free breakfast. The lobby was very nice. I really liked the pool table, games, snack bar, free coffee (even though it was cold) and other gathering areas in the lobby. Laundry room was nice. Everything was really clean and quiet. I am glad to see you enjoyed the amenities that we do offer. Unfortunately, with the brand the microwave is not allowed in the guest room, but we do have a microwave for guest use in the lobby.   Very clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, I used a disreputable site at first to book, looked like an official Hilton site and had 'click here' for hotels phone. I clicked there and was led to 888-497-5044. This is a scam number and the representative use continual foul language during the call. Fortunately, I had stayed here before so booked on expedia.com and the hotel confirmed this was a bogus number.
