    Mislead not transparent about amenities

    My reservation for a four-night stay was made several months in advance. My primary concern arises from the unexpected absence of a key amenity – breakfast – which I had reasonably anticipated would be included or, at the very least, clearly communicated to me prior to my arrival.Regrettably, this significant detail was not disclosed at any point leading up to or during the check-in process. It was only after I had completed check-in, settled into my room, and proactively inquired with the front desk staff that I became aware that breakfast was not provided.This lack of advance notification has led to considerable inconvenience and unforeseen financial costs for both my wife and myself, as we have incurred additional expenses for breakfast over the entirety of our four-day stay.Had this crucial information been communicated to me before my credit card was processed for the full four-night stay and the associated deposit, I would have had the opportunity to make an informed decision regarding my accommodation choice.     We arrived around at 9pm and there was no one at the front desk. We waited for almost 20 minutes in the lobby for someone to show up.     No pillows for you!

    We recently stayed one night here as part of a spring break road trip. Admittedly, I guess I did not do my due diligence because the hotel did not at all live up to the expectations I had when I booked the accommodation. We arrived late, so I didn't expect a flurry of activity in the lobby when I checked in, and figured the bleachy smell in the lobby was due to nightly cleaning. Check in was smooth and we were soon in our room, where we were disappointed to realize the level of road noise we could hear and the smells in the hallway.Traveling with two small children, I booked a king room with a sofa bed. When we opened the sofa, there were no sheets, only what seemed to be the factory plastic wrap around the mattress. We also were only given 3 pillows on the king bed. We called the front desk to request bedding for the sofa sleeper and additional pillows for all of us and the attendant said he wasn't allowed to leave the desk, so we'd need to come down, but that he would provide us sheets. We were told the hotel does not give "extra" pillows - I did not request extra pillows, simply the bedding that I assumed would be provided when booking a sofa bed and a reservation for 4 people. We made this point, but were still told we would not be able to receive any more pillows. While my husband went to retrieve the 3 flat sheets that were ultimately provided, I noticed some stains in the blankets on the king bed, but given the late hour and the response about the pillows, we made do with the blankets we brought from home and I balled up one of the flat sheets as a pillow for the night. Fortunately, we were on the road in the morning or I would have quickly rebooked at another hotel. It seemed like a good deal, but I should have realized that you get what you pay for.     Had a last minute trip for work and did not have anything arranged . Liked this location and the rate so gave it a try, Rooms much better than the reviews I read and the front desk was prompt and friendly .     Was surprised how clean the rooms were. Looks like they were recently renovated, Great price for the area and close to Gas South where we went for our event .
