    We Loved Staying In This Doubletree!

    This Doubletree was the first full service hotel we splurged on for awhile, and it was worth it! The beachfront view, indoor and outdoor pools, and restaurant breakfast were all perfect. The staff was attentive and quick to fill any requests we made. It has become our favorite hotel on the Crystal Coast. We look forward to returning next year.

    We stay here every year, but this year felt different. We booked an ocean front through Bring Fido, and received a 2nd floor at the road. Forget opening your door with traffic. Porch door had slimy marks all over it, drapes were broken and wouldn’t close all the way. Other than that, the room was as expected. (Headboards were greasy). The hotel itself was as expected except for 2 things. (I wish I had taken pics) The elevator doors are absolutely disgusting. Snag, spit hand prints etc. not just one day. But our whole stay. The second, the stairwell we had to walk our dog down to go out, was FULL of black mold. The center stairs are open, and it looks like people throw stuff down it, and it is puled up, openly. Even a full lightbulb. lol. The stairwell is next to office, can’t tell me they don’t see it.Service is great here. We love Mollys. But the biggest gag, was flag at half staff for a podcaster.

    We have been to this property several times now and will continue to return. Family-friendly and clean. I love that they offer free coffee in the morning. The location is wonderful. Staff is very friendly and Roshelle is exceptionally wonderful. She made us feel right at home and was kind and helpful.

    Right on the beach, two restaurants and one is beachfront. Nice indoor/outdoor pools. Rooms were fine, staff was very nice. There was one exceptional staff member, an older man who was a maintenance worker. We had major flooding in our bathroom, he fixed it quickly and was so courteous and professional. I wish I’d have gotten his name but it was Thursday morning 6/19/25. Outstanding representative of the Hilton brand.
