Big rooms, good location, dated property
04 Apr 2026
Huge rooms, large free breakfast space, very limited reception in bar, helpful staff, very dated decor. Short walk to SoCon area with restaurants and shops. Joann’s is very good + tasty. We went twice.. nice outdoor space and super friendly vibe. Great location and perks
02 Apr 2026
We had a really good experience at this Embassy Suites. The location was fantastic and we enjoyed the breakfast and the cocktail hour. Everyone who worked there was very helpful. The gym was small but had good equipment. My one call out was that the sofa bed was really uncomfortable. We were a family of five in a room with two queens and a sofa, and that uncomfortable sofa bed was a big deal. The room definitely could also use a decor update, too. General Manager, General Manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown South Congress, responded to this review Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. We’re so glad you had a good experience, especially with our location and breakfast. At the same time, we understand how the sofa bed comfort and overall room style impacted your stay, and we appreciate you bringing that to our attention as our team reviews this internally to ensure a better experience moving forward. We’d love to welcome you back again soon for an even more comfortable visit. Regards, Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown South Congress Management Team
