Austin 2026 -Rainey St. Experience
11 Mar 2026
We had an amazing time... OLIVIA was attentive and went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable for our overnight stay.We stayed here for an overnight trip and was very impressed. Room was large and spacious. Lobby was organized and clean. It had a relaxing business environment, secure feel and thoughtful design. Plus, the location was convenient for everything we needed. Great experience!

Do NOT book at this hotel if you want to sleep
12 Dec 2025
The worst hotel I’ve stayed at in a very long time! Sofa beds are in terrible shape. Wall thermostats do not work. The worst bast part the hotel has zero soundproofing and has multiple bars and outdoor music venues right outside: don’t stay here if you want to be able to watch tv, relax or sleep between 8pm and 3 am. I especially enjoyed hearing people scream all night.

Too LOUD to Sleep
08 May 2025
They didn’t tell us until we checked in that there is a bar behind the hotel that plays live music LOUDLY until 2am. They offered us earplugs and a sound machine at check in, but the band was too loud to be drowned out. I will never stay here again. Elizabeth Jackson, Owner at Homewood Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear that the noise impacted your stay. Our location in the heart of downtown Austin, just steps from the Rainey Street District, offers incredible access to some of the city's best dining, music, and nightlife — but we understand that comes with a level of energy that not everyone expects or finds comfortable. We do provide earplugs and sound machines as a courtesy, though we recognize that noise sensitivity can vary greatly from guest to guest. We truly appreciate you staying with us and wish you more restful travels ahead.

EXTRAORDINARILY WONDERFUL
24 Feb 2025
My trip to Austin was an unforgettable experience. It started with the stellar customer service I received from ALL the staff! As soon as I entered the hotel, I was greeted by the brightest, most welcoming smile by Raquel! Later in my stay, I introduced myself to the night auditor (Sorry, I forgot her name) and the other GSA, Allan. We had a great visit! I was there for non-hotel related reasons, but as Director of Sales of a Homewood Suites brand, THIS matters. Great attitudes and TRUE customer service skills are the key elements to selling a hotel and contributes to its overall success. Who you have on your front line matters and Homewood Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown, has found this element and is running with it!!!Great job y'all!!! Elizabeth Jackson, Owner at Homewood Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown, responded to this review Thank you so much for the extraordinary review! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that your visit to Austin—and to our hotel—left such a lasting impression. Raquel, Allan, and our overnight team will be so pleased to know they helped make your stay special. As a fellow member of the Homewood Suites family, your kind words mean even more to us. We couldn’t agree more—exceptional service at the front line sets the tone for the entire guest experience. Thank you again for the recognition, and we hope to welcome you back anytime your travels bring you to downtown Austin!

Best Homewood Suites I've Stayed At
07 Dec 2024
This was the single best Homewood Suites I have stayed at. The quality of service was outstanding, from the checking to the breakfast, to the rooms. I stay at a lot of hotels and I was really impressed by this one.The only thing to be aware of is that this is by the highway so you will get some road noise. I found the windows to be adequate for keeping it out, but if you're sensitive just be aware of what you're buying. On the back side of this hotel is a bunch of great restaurants you can walk to. Despite being near the highway, this is a very walkable area of Austin. Elizabeth Jackson, Owner at Homewood Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown, responded to this review Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're honored to be recognized as the best Homewood Suites you've stayed at—that truly means a lot, especially coming from someone who travels often. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the service, breakfast, and your room, and we appreciate you pointing out both the convenience and character of our location. Being in the vibrant Rainey Street District means we're close to amazing local dining and nightlife, though it can come with some of the typical sounds of downtown life. We're thrilled you found the area both lively and walkable, and we hope to welcome you back on your next trip to Austin!
