  ,Beautiful casino with free shuttle from Boston harbor

  I took an ebike tour from the Boston Harbor area and my guide recommended I take the shuttle boat that was also in the harbor to the Encore casino. The boat ride was about 15-20 minutes and what a nice ride. The casino/hotel lobby was beautiful. It had a beautiful flower display and was very clean. I stayed for an hour or so and came ahead about $20.00. I would have stayed longer but had other commitments. I would definitely return whenever I head back to Boston.

  Rude and Unprofessional Front Desk Experience

  My experience at Encore was extremely disappointing and, frankly, one of the worst examples of customer service I have encountered.What should have been a simple request for an additional room key turned into an unnecessarily difficult and unpleasant situation. Instead of offering assistance, the front desk staff, particularly Karla and Richard, were dismissive, rude, and at times appeared to be mocking my husband and son. Their attitude was unprofessional, unhelpful, and completely inconsistent with the level of service one would expect from a luxury property.To make matters worse, the managers involved did not make any meaningful effort to resolve the situation or address the behavior of their staff. Rather than de-escalating the issue and providing solutions, they seemed indifferent to our concerns.Exceptional hotels are defined not only by their facilities but by the way they treat their guests. Unfortunately, Encore failed in that regard. The lack of courtesy, professionalism, and basic customer care displayed during our stay left a very negative impression.I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and provides additional training to ensure future guests are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

  Casino is the biggest scam in New England.... But the rooms are fancy

  We're pretty big gamblers and have been going to Encore Boston Harbor since it opened. We've gone by car, we've gone by boat and we always get a room. (Mind you at $500 a pop the rooms are astronomically priced... they're beautiful but there are very few extras/activities/things to do at the hotel and a lack of pool/hot tub. Not enough food options and what they do have is overpriced including room service. Further they will only let you comp rooms on very specific days that never work so the "comps" are also kind of a scam). In the beginning it was great but it seemed to quickly go downhill. We've also traveled all around New England playing at every casino from Atlantic City to Maine. Which is why I know they've tightened up and are ripping people off. The slots? They've got half of the bonuses turned off. You go to other casinos and play the same EXACT machines? They actually allow you to play all the bonuses/all the bonuses come up like normal. You can even see when the bonuses try and kick in but are stopped as the machine freezes up and pictures/videos for the bonuses will play - but the opportunity to play the bonus will not. We dumped $600 into a machine this last visit doing $3 bets and it was gone in an hour. You pump $100 in at another casino and it will keep you playing for the day. (Which is stupid from a business perspective - you keep people in the casino longer, the more apt they are to spend money in your shops, restaurants etc.) It also seems like they cut things off during certain times/periods of the day or week.I've given this place many chances and spent tens of thousands of dollars between myself and my husband. As a gambler it's disheartening visiting at this point and I'm not sure if I'll really be going back - I'd rather drive to the Brook in New Hampshire and forfeit all the extras as at least I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off and taken advantage of. If you're looking for a nice hotel room and plan on hanging in while you're there? This place is great. If you're looking to gamble? Save yourself the heartache and just don't.

  Turn away money

  I been coming every morning since casino opened and I travel every where for free from all other casinos 3 ti.es a week they clean one door so you have to go around again I went to 3 different entrance at 625 a.m. and all 3 said go around and I never seen a casino turn away money if they ever be a another casino around here this place will lose like the guy at door what was wise told me it's more important to clean then bring in more money but without money this place don't run

  Losing stars.

  This is supposed to be a five star resort. Not even close. The staff at the hotel are very rude and disrespectful. Whether it be checking in or picking up a complimentary gift. You are treated like you are putting them out of their way. And as far as security there should be more. I’ve witnessed people smoking eating and destroying the casino property and no one seems to care. I’ve noticed less and less people coming. It’s a shame they treat people who are spending money so poorly.
