    My family and I, after attending a funeral in Maine, had just an amazing and wonderful stay at this hotel. We received exceptional service from Travis at the front desk. He checked us in quickly, and met our every need or request with kindness and support. It really made our stay one of the best we have ever had at a hotel. The location was perfect to take the T into Boston and the breakfast was delicious and the lobby so clean and professional looking. Definitely will want to stay here again when returning to Boston.     The staff was pleasant. The hotel was clean, parking was safe and breakfast was decent. The heaters gave a mildly sour smell, the bathroom had cracks and bubbles. My biggest annoyance was the room refridgerator was not cold. We told the front desk who sent engineering. The engineer said the ~55 degrees was as cold as it would get. It was a "cooling box" not a proper fridge. So our stored food had to be thrown out. Why was this not revealed in advance? Who thought this was acceptable?     Close enough to Boston but at a fraction of the price

    I was looking for two rooms near Boston but more affordable than in Boston proper and this relatively new hotel fit the bill. We have two rooms in our family group, both rooms were spotless and well appointed. Everything about the hotel was in great shape and clean. The included breakfast was better than most hotel breakfasts, the selection and quality we very good.Parking was available for a fee, we did not have a vehicle at this point so I cannot say exactly how much it was, I think around $15 - 20 per day.It was a easy 5 minute walk to the Red Line Subway which took you into central Boston quickly.     Booked a family night away to celebrate my daughter's birthday, my granddaughter's 5th birthday, and my grandson's 3rd birthday. We visited a local zoo during the day, leaving to check-in at this hotel, relax a bit, and enjoy drinks and dinner at their website advertised in-house bar/lounge, before heading back to the Zoo for their Lights at Night. When it came time to get dinner, we headed downstairs, followed the signs within the hotel pointing us to the Bar, only to find nothing. I went to the front desk to ask, in case I missed something. The desk agent told me they hadn't had a restaurant there since Covid. Six years and they couldn't update the website (which also had a menu you could still download), nor update the signage throughout the hotel? This caused a major hiccup in our plans, as by then, we had to pivot with now hangry Littles. This was a VERY disappointing discovery, as I had chosen this hotel based upon the availability of being able to eat in the hotel, without having to leave.     Stayed here for 4 days. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfasts were delicious. We had a powercut for an hour or so in the morning with no apology and no idea what had happened. Would have been nice for a friendly notice at the front desk explaining what had happened. BE WARNED GOT CHARGED FOR 2 DAYS PARKING WHEN DIDNT HAVE A CAR. Upon returning to the UK I contacted the IHG chat and got a support number for the chat. A week later after no correspondence, I re contacted IHG via their help online chat. They told me that the overcharged were authorised to be returned. Over a month since my visit and over 2 weeks since contacting I still haven't received my refund. Its a real let down how you can be charged for parking for a vehicle I hadn't got.
