    Great price - would not hesitate to stay again

    I was in the region to visit two museums in different cities/towns. I found this Holiday Inn with the best rate by far with good reviews. It is not in either of the places I am visiting but there is a large shopping center across the street so easy access to anything one could need and a lot of dining options. Everything is quite clean and up-to-date. Breakfast is standard but decent. Staff is friendly and polite. Clean, comfortable, budget-friendly.

    Absolutely brilliant stay. We stopped for a week as a base for exploring and could not fault a thing. Very clean, good facilities, good choice for breakfast each day, friendly staff - everything we could have wanted. Room was huge with plenty of space shower was lovely.

    Not a place to be if there's an emergency. Uncaring management

    I have to give kudos to the May 16 Friday Night front desk rep (Liam? I think) for his professionalism. The other two, a young Brazilian lady and another gentleman on Sunday morning, need to find another job. But lets start with what went RIGHT:1. The cleaning crew works hard to keep it as clean as possible through renovation2. The breakfast crew do a great job in serving by 6 and keeping it squeeky clean (for which they were tipped handsomely both mornings we were there).What DIDNT go well - is their handling of a faulty fire alarm and their complete condescending attitude and lack of preparedness. The cleaning crew TOLD me the alarm was faulty and apologized so much for the inconvenience. The Sunday morning front desk? UN PROFESSIONAL! WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT YOU DONT TELL GUESTS AT CHECK IN THAT THE ALARM IS HAVING PROBLEMS, BUT THEY EXPECT EVERYONE TO EVACUATE (AND GIVE THEM A SAFE AREA TO GO TO! WHICH THEY DIDNT DO!!!!!). WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY DONT CHECK AND DO HEAD COUNT IN THE PARKING TO CHECK THAT EVERYONE IS OUT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO EAT IT BECAUSE THE ALARM IS FAULTY? First night 530 am second night 1230 MIDNIGHT! ONLY ONE PERSON at the desk at night. Condescending, and not sincere in their approach or apology. The owner and the manager shouldn't be in the hospitality business.I understand the hotel was used to house displaced immigrants. While I lived in Hudson until April 1, my taxes gladly paid for helping. I get that they have to renovate the hotel. But I DONT GET and WONT forget how POORLY they handled the alarm situation, and their lack of compensation or ANYTHING for the inconvenience that almost gave me a heart attack - THEY KNOW THEY HAVE A PROBLEM. Yet they are unprepared to handle an emergency or deal with the problem. Simply shameful in my beloved town of Hudson, MA.

    We stopped here unexpectedly while traveling through the area. A very nicely kept and well-maintained facility. The room was clean and comfortable. Adequate parking just of the street. We were in room #221. There is a large shopping center just across the street.
