Honestly, I never write a review, but this place really was awesome. The lobby is newly renovated and has really lovely clean open seating and tables access to forks and knives cups mugs and just was an awesome space for our kids to have some meals. Also, the front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful and pleasant. The beds were comfortable. Our room was an oceanfront room, which was super awesome and the access to the beach was very easy. That beach is also awesome. It has caves and lots of fun things for kids also provides shade natural shade. The front desk also provided free beach, equipment, chairs, umbrella beach balls. It was just a really nice perk.The only feedback I’d give is that they really need up their coffee game. Everything else is so great, not sure why they’d provide below average coffee. Otherwise perfect. I would stay again in a heartbeat!!! Thanks Cottage Inn! The sound of waves crashing and pelicans galore

Beautiful view! Pelicans aplenty, flying by at eye level. Room had a fireplace and door opening to the back garden (bottom floor only) with view of water as far as the eye can see. With windows open, one can hear the waves crashing throughout the night. Beware that there is a charge for items available in the room. There were only a few Kleenex stuffed into the box and one piece of paper in the notepad. Soaps and shampoo were via pump bottle. It being my first time at Pismo, I was so satisfied with my stay, the view from my King bottom floor Ocean view room was an experience i will never forget it was beautiful and a Hidden Gem!!
