  I was in town for a Hornets game. The room was pretty good for the price. Pleasant check in experience. The mattress wasn't great but overall it was a pleasant experience.

  Great place to stay if you love marijuana the entire lobby and every floor I entered smelled like fresh marijuana.

  The entire hotel smelled like fresh marijuana, not the burnt smell from smoking. It smelled like high grade pot on every floor. Additionally there was activity in the parking lot throughout all hours of the evening. People coming and going, people sitting in their cars We checked out before 4am had intended to stay for breakfast but didn’t feel comfortable.

  Computer down at check in and one elevator working but extremely slow. Frustrating to say the least!   This location was well below average. The people working there were rude and not helpful. The hotel carpets were stained and torn throughout the place. I had 2 rooms and both were not clean. When you walked in the smell was not pleasant. Both bathrooms had either a broken toilet, shower head, or faucet. The bedding in my room had cigarette burns. The breakfast food was limited. The coffee was bad. I don’t know how coffee can be that bad. Lastly, when entering the building, there were homeless people sitting near the front door. When we left for work the following morning, there were 2 homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk going to your truck.   Comfort Suites University – Research Park is a great choice if you’re visiting North Charlotte for business or visiting UNC Charlotte. The location is excellent—right near the university and very convenient for meetings and work around the University City area.The hotel is clean, comfortable, and quiet, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the overall experience is smooth and hassle-free. Parking is convenient, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.Overall, a perfect location for business travelers in North Charlotte and for anyone visiting UNC Charlotte. Would definitely stay here again.
