    Gorgeous property but unsustainably loud

    Nice property but REALLY loud… all night. Lots of parties walking on Mich Blvd as well as cars cruising with music blasting. You won’t sleep til they stop!     It’s a beautiful historic hotel with an amazing staff in the middle of downtown Chicago. Thoroughly modern but the building itself steeped in history. Tons to do and see.     Surprising (in a very good way)!

    This hotel is the perfect launchpad for a Chicago getaway! It’s extremely centrally located and the rooms are spacious with the distinctive style to the decor that is in keeping with the location. The surprising part is that versus many of the other hotels in the area it is (at least for when we stayed) particularly good value!     The room was terrible,too small with no modern conveniences.Our view was a brick building with a fire escape!!!! It would have made a tolerable jail cell!!!     What a wonderful place and location. Close to everything, can walk or take Lyft to all the museums and sights. A bit cold when we went but could not be happier.
