    Our stay at Clarion Inn was completely unacceptable. We discovered a mouse in our room—something no guest should ever have to deal with. When we brought this serious health and safety issue to management, the General Manager refused to offer a refund or even basic accommodations to resolve the situation.This response was just as troubling as the problem itself. A hotel that dismisses concerns like this shows a clear lack of accountability and respect for its guests. Cleanliness and customer service are the bare minimum expectations, and this property failed on both.I would absolutely NOT recommend staying here. Save yourself the frustration and choose somewhere that actually values guest safety and satisfaction.     This hotel is literally a crack house with loud music and the stench of weed throughout the building. As they say you get what you pay for. This hotel is to be condemned. It's funny because they literally have a sign on the front desk that says no parties in the room.     The pool is FREEZING not heated as advertised.

    Hotel is outdated but seemed fine. Rooms are dark (dark carpet, worn; dark decor; dim lighting) Bathroom was clean but pretty basic. Beds were comfy enough but nothing special. Hallways were unpleasant with some weird smells and dark lighting. Common areas are nice enough but the computers and printer in the “business center” were nonfunctional. Luckily the woman at the front desk was very nice and printed for me. Happy to be able to bring our dog but biggest disappointment was we chose the hotel ONLY for the heated pool (paying extra over another option) but the pool was frigid and way too cold for swimming with the kids. Speaking of cold, the hot water was out in the whole place after we tried to swim so we couldn’t even warm up. They did fix it within a few hours though.     Hidden Gem Near Chicago

    This was a hidden gem minutes away from O’Hare airport. Relaxing, clean hotel with very nice, professional staff. Room was clean and comfy and the food and service in the cafe were fantastic. 8 minute drive to Al Capone’s grave and the famous De Salvo spinning gravestone. Portillo’s restaurant nearby has fabulous Italian roast beef and Chicago style hot dogs. I had a lovely stay!
