    Rooms were warm. The AC was off when I checked in and it was difficult to keep the room cool. Meeting rooms had broken AC units and the 4 portable units that were rigged up failed miserably at making an impact and the room only got to about 86 degrees. The people were very friendly. The common areas (lobby, coffee area) were comfortable.

    Cool older hotel with some character, but the rooms are definitely showing their age. The room felt more like a converted office than a traditional hotel room. Several lights didn't work properly, making the room feel dim and dingy. The location and historic feel were nice, but the accommodations could use updating and better maintenance

    Pyjama from France missing and manager did not honor their promise to refund

    The location was fantastic, the check in great. The problem we had was that the cleaner removed a special cotton pyjama from the room after the second night and we kept trying to get it back. We were told after a lot of distress that they would refund 100 USD. That was in April 7. We are now in June 7 and they completely ignored my emails, whatsapp, hotels.com whatever. After they got 5 stars they didnt care to follow up and really compensate us for that “ disappearance”. Mr Grady has not responded ever since we left. We stayed one week there and they seemed to have had a new person who probably took it together with towels or sheets, but this had never happened anywhere else. It was a special pyjama bought in France.
