  Stayed for one night while passing through the area. Room was clean and quiet. Room had a half dividing wall between the bed and the living room and a small kitchen. Breakfast was decent with a few more items and standard bread and waffle offering.   Decent hotel at an attractive price

  Property is a bit dated, but clean and well kept. Front desk staff was both friendly and efficient. Included breakfast was typical and sufficient. Great price for what you get. Close proximity to Chicago Premium Outlet mall. Easy drive into Chicago downtown.   Arrived very late in the evening for a 2 night stay. The front desk person was welcoming and very courteous. Lobby was clean and updated. There is a small indoor pool right off the lobby.The king suite was spacious, had a refrigerator, microwave, sink and good storage cabinetry. The bed was comfortable. Through our stay all staff was really nice. Breakfast had a good selection but just didn’t hit it. Scrambled egg texture and taste was artificial, like the powder form. Sausage link flavor and texture was off. They did have 3 cold cereal options as well as oatmeal, pastries and waffles as other options not tried by me due to dietary restrictions. Our room just wasn’t clean to the standards we are used to in our hotel stays. The microwave did not work. And we received no housekeeping services. When we notified front desk we were told housekeeping had left and we would need to come down and retrieve clean towels ourselves. Our room was situated close to the elevator. Conversations could be heard clearly through the closed door. Wish I could say more good about this hotel. This would not be my first choice when staying in this area again.   I never write reviews but felt the need to for this property. Unfortunately this hotel had bed bugs that we found after our first night. When we informed the front desk that we were leaving because of bed bugs the staff seemed unsurprised. When we checked out the computer system was “down”, and now it has been 2 weeks of back and forth trying to get a refund processed with my credit card company. We were supposed to stay there 2 additional nights but obviously switched hotels after finding bed bugs. They are denying my request to refund the two nights we didn’t stay there since we didn’t have “proof” of bed bugs. Even though I have a receipt for the other hotel we ended up staying at instead. They are also very hard to get a hold of. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel unless you want to get bed bugs and pay for nights you didn’t stay there. I want to assure you that we are thoroughly investigating this claim and that although we have not found any evidence of a bug infestation, we are taking the necessary precautions to ensure that nothing is missed. I want to assure you that we respond promptly to pest alerts with expert extermination services and also treat to deter pests on a regular scheduled basis. We take this business very seriously and assure you that management has taken all the steps to make sure that all the rooms are clean and our ultimate goal is to make sure each guest had a comfortable stay.   Loud and Confusing!

  I have never been in a hotel with such a lack of soundproofing. While walking down the hall, I could clearly hear entire conversations that other guests were having behind closed doors. I could also hear the people above me every time they walked anywhere. The confusing part was that there were not a lot of cars in the parking lot but the hotel was completely full. Some people said they had been there for several weeks. Additionally, my credit card was double charged. I called to let them know and they said it wasn't. I will work that out with my bank I guess. On a good note, the hotel was fairly clean and the breakfast had a fairly good variety and was attended to very nicely.
