    Dated hotel and unfriendly checkin experience

    The front desk worker was very aggressive we parked in the front to unload he asked us to move our car while unloading. We asked for a restroom he said he didn’t have any but once checked in when walking to elevator there were indeed working restrooms not sure why he said there were none and we had to use the one in our room? We used the luggage cart and while getting on elevator he stopped us to tell us we needed to bring the cart back down like he didn’t want us to use the cart? Overall the hotel is dated the bathroom is very dated the tub is a little gross but the location is great. Check in experience was very odd.

    Will not honor your reservation!!!

    DO NOT BOOK HERE. They do not honor reservations from 3rd party sites!! We booked last week through Chase Travel, called check in day to confirm and inform them we would be arriving late. When we arrive they have no record of our reservation! We ended up having to drive over an hour away to find another hotel. Whatever reservation system they have needs a complete and total overhaul.

    I most often stay at Country Inn and Suites when I travel. This hotel is not up to the standards of the franchise. The clerk asked me if I was alone. None of his business. I have never been asked this before at any other hotel. They indicated that the plastic keys must be returned because "technology costs money." There was a sign indicating that you cannot take breakfast back to your room. Never had this happen before at other locations of this franchise. When I attempted to take a shower before leaving in the morning, the shower knob would not turn far enough to take a warm shower. There was hot water coming from the sink so lack of hot water was not the problem. I needed to be on my way and did not have time for them to fix it. I have never been unable to take a shower at any other location in this franchise. When I was leaving, the car next to me was too close to open my door and put in my suitcase in the backseat so I put the suitcase so that I could back up and then place it in the back seat. A gentleman, who was either the manager or an employee came running out. He thought I was going to "run over" someone's suitcase.

    This place was fantastic! The jetted tub worked wonderfully, and the whole room was very clean. When my wife and I were leaving I forgot a necklace that had a lot of sentimental value. When I called, they hadn’t found it and I thought it was just lost. But then I got a callback the next day and they found it and mailed it to me at no cost! Because of the willingness of the staff to go above and beyond, I’ve saved this address and will be staying with them the next time I’m in the area.

    THEY HAVE BEDBUGS!!! WE STAYED FOR 4 DAYS, THE FIRST DAY THE SHEETS WERE DIRTY AND ALSO THE BATHROOMS SO THEY CHANGED US ROOMS BUT IN THE SECOND ROOM WE SAW BEDBUGS, THEY BIT US ALL OVER THE BODY. THEY DID NOT CLEAN THE ROOMS. I WASHED ALL MY THINGS BECAUSE THE BEDBUGS GOT INTO MY SUITCASE.
