Located north-west of central Chicago, this hotel is conveniently located close to most area attractions, such as Sears Centre (6.4 km), Sears Tower (40 km), the forest preserve (16 km), Stonegate Conference Center (1.6 km) and Arlington Park racetrack (16 km).

Facility

    Very disappointing hotel customer service.

    We booked the 'park, sleep, fly' package with the Country Inn & Suites in Hoffmann Estates, IL with the complimentary 24/7 shuttle service to/from the airport being the main reason we chose this hotel. NOTE: when you request your shuttle service to the airport for departure, you will take a shuttle at a time that the hotel deems is an adequate time to arrive at the airport, for example 2 hours prior to an international flight is fine according to them. We requested 3 hours prior to departure and had but were told 'no' it's not necessary to get there earlier. I called twice requesting an earlier shuttle drop off, but was told each time that it's not necessary to arrive earlier. This situation created such unnecessary anxiety/stress, especially when the hotel amenities state 24/7 complimentary shuttle service. We did arrive at the hotel to wait in the lobby until our slotted drop off shuttle time, but we were pleasantly surprised to learn that "W" (the woman in charge of arranging our shuttle service), managed to arrange a shuttle drop off for my original request time. Our return to the US and using the CI & Suites "P,S,F" package shuttle service: was horrendous. We landed early, went through customs, gathered our luggage and waited in the designated area for shuttle pick up and called the hotel to let them know that we were fully ready for pick up. The CI & Suites staff, let's call him "P" (he's the second person in charge of this shuttle arranging process for the hotel), proceeded to YELL at me over the phone because we had arrived early on our flight. I actually said "Are you yelling at me?" and after he continued his angry conversation to me, I did state that "You must be having a bad day, because this is not how you handle customer service with your guests". "P" said that we would have to just wait at the airport until he could figure out what to do and that he would call me back. "P" did call back after 10-15 minutes with the instructions that we were to take a taxi to the hotel and they would reimburse us for that ride. "P" also did apologize for yelling at me on the previous phone call. Due to this instantaneous negative reaction to our early flight return and shuttle pick up issues, our family decided NOT to stay at the hotel that we had already paid for, prior to the trip's start. We paid for hotel rooms that we never slept in, so we lost money at this hotel. Find a better more courteous hotel that enjoys having guests.

    Good Value but an older hotel

    Hotel is easy to access and has several adjacent restaurants that are an easy walk. Price was excellent versus closer to Chicago. Breakfast was excellent plus had more that adequate seating. Biggest negatives were some of the doors, including our room door, needed some physical encouragement to completely latch. The staff was very friendly and immediately entered a work order when I commented on the door.

    Terrible Experience. Booked 4 Days, but Checked out after 1 Day and went to Another Local Hotel - Marriott Northwest - Exceptional!!!

    Worst Customer Experience in my life

    I reached late (12:30 A.M.) due to a snowstorm and a late flight. In my hurry, I could not call them. When I reached, the experience I had with the two worst front desk people (Md. Azharuddin and Nishant) shocked me. When I reached, the first thing they told me was that I was late and they couldn't help. The audit is closed. I should just leave and go and figure it out myself. On being told it was a snowstorm outside and that I flew in from out of state, they simply shrugged and said, "It's my fault." I asked them to call the manager, but they said he is sleeping and would fire them if they called. I also offered to pay in case they give me a new room as an early check-in or a new reservation. They seem to be in a hurry to sleep. I had to run around in that cold to find a solution. Thankfully, the well-known brand hotel next door was fantastic, with an amazing front desk staff member. He gave me a room, charged me for early check-in, and helped. Now, that's what I call excellent customer service. To anyone reading this, AVOID this hotel. Those two people are a disgrace to the hospitality industry. I hope Radisson Execs are reading this and take steps to ensure customers come first, even if they are at fault.

    Poor service and it’s not clean at all!, I found 3 different bugs in my room and the manager said it’s normal when they come out of the heater…sorry but if I’m paying to stay in a room I don’t expect bugs. And I sent an email and I never heard back and they also don’t do refunds for these types of things. Save your money and go to a motel you will get the same experience..
