This hotel is located just 2 blocks from the Navy Pier and the Magnificent Mile and offers the perfect location from which to comfortably explore the major Chicago attractions. The tourist centre (House of Blues) is about 800 m and it is some 1.2 km to Grant Park, 1.6 km to the Sears Tower and 3.2 km to the Field Museum of Natural History, the AMC River East 21 Theaters and the Oak Street Beach. Guests will find Lincoln Park Zoo roughly 4.8 km from the hotel and it is approximately 19 km to Chicago Midway International Airport and 28 km to Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

Facility

455 rooms are located on 17 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system and WiFi are provided as well. The daily newspaper is laid out for guests in the the rooms. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex includes both indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis and basketball are available. The water sports offered include jet skiing. Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. The restaurant has air conditioning and high chairs for children. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    The one thing that majority of hotels struggle with is their drains draining slowly. Not many of like the be taking a shower when the water is up to our ankles. The think that this hotel lacks, which is common in hotels is exhausting the air in the bathroom to prevent fogging up of the mirror. The way they combat this is a separate sink in the bedroom with a mirror. The breakfast menu is going to be pretty much the same everyday, but you have the option to have them make your own, within limits.

    I do not know where to begin, it was completely crowded and 2 elevators out of service, so you can imagine that many people going up and down the stairs. In general, the hotel is in need of a remodelation urgently. More? The tarifs were up to the sky, as if it was a 5 stars hotel. Never going back.
