  By far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

  This extended stay America is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. If you’re looking for a bed for one night, and nothing else, this place would be serviceable for your needs. WiFi is terrible (even with upgraded speed, wifi doesn’t reach the second floor effectively). This hotel has none of the amenities that any local hotel has. No gym, pool, breakfast (other than mini muffins and a coffee machine). Also, the staff is nice but clearly don’t care about complaints. I had several female coworkers also staying at this hotel who were harassed, and the general clientele of this hotel made several of us find other accommodations. The only benefit to this hotel is its cheaper general price for longer stays, but you get what you pay for.   Room a/c smelled. They have no vending machine or ice machines. Breakfast consists of muffins, granola bars, coffee, tea, oatmeal.   The staff were very friendly and super First room - kept awake all night due to being in a room above the mechanical room. No problems moving to another roomHowever, second room was not clean. Melted cheese in the microwave Two disgusting stains on the carpet Disgusting marked on top sheet Vinyl flooring not cleanCracks in bathroom sinkBurn mark on iron wire - unsafe to useFridges in both rooms are noisyBreakfast offers are extremely poor - stale muffins in wrappers- chewy bars, porridge in sachets.   Clean! My husband and I stayed here for two nights while visiting family. My favorite thing about this hotel is the cleanliness. The lobby, hallways, and room were all fresh and clean and there were no funny odors. There was a light, pleasant scent that probably came from a cleanser or air freshener.While this is a suites hotel with a kitchenette, there are no cooking supplies or dishes. You can buy sets of cooking and eating supplies from the front desk which cost over $30. There was one plastic cup in the bathroom for water. There was a bar of body/hand soap provided in the bathroom. If you want complimentary facial soap or shampoo you need to ask at the front desk. The room was nicely decorated and the bed and pillows were comfortable.Next time we will bring a few items to make tea/coffee and some eating utensils and paper plates.We payed just over $100 per night. It was a great value. Even though the room did not include supplies, it was worth it. We will stay here again because it was clean, quiet, safe and comfortable.   very excellent service from the Management team and housekeeping maintenance just the whole staff. friendly helping, rather directions or car jump or somewhere to eat. I would definitely recommend anyone and Family and pets to come to visit the place when you are in Chicago.
