  Upon check-in, I intended to reserve 3 rooms. I accidently reserved only 2 rooms at the special associate rate. The 2 rooms that I had reserved were at a special rate, and I asked the person at the front desk if there is any way to match the rate, or provide a discount of some sort to help with the cost of having to pay the regular rate for a 3rd room. He told me that there was no way of matching the rate, and that there was nothing that he can do to help with the cost. The associate was not particularly friendly, nor did he make me feel welcome in any way. Also, it would have been nice to have all 3 rooms near each other; instead we were on two different floors. Once again, the associate showed no empathy, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Upon arriving in one of the rooms, the room was ok, but not great. There were no USB/charging slots any part of the room (such as the lamps, clock, desk, etc.). There was also a pair of dirty socks in the room. The snacks/sodas were not stocked in the lobby shop, and the only coffee offered was bold - no medium or light roast was available.All in all, the pool was nice, the room ok (though dated, with so-so pillows), but the check-in experience and the overall hospitality was not very appealing.

  Phenomenal experience from beginning to end! We arrived after stopping at the wrong Fairfield (greeting experience were terrible by the front desk of the other Fairfield by the airport). Came to the Schaumburg location and was greeted by Yelena and David, and it was a day and night comparison. They were full smiles as we walked in welcomed us and greeted my family. Very attentive to our request which was for a baby crib in our room. It was there within 15 minutes checking in. They asked each time if we were enjoying our stay. This has been the best customer service experience my family have had in a long time for sure.Rooms were super clean as well and it was no hassle getting additional towels or wash clothes that were needed later in the stay. Complimentary breakfast had good options as well.Yelena and David, please continue the great customer service and we will stay here again because of this phenomenal experience. Thank you Fairfield Schaumburg team!

  Rooms clean, unusably slow internet. Like, if you're traveling for business - skip this spot. Each device throttled to 4 mbps down. Barely enough for a teams/zoom call, and useless for streaming at night.

  If I could give this place 0 stars, then I would. Everything started out great. We got a nice room on the second floor. The room was clean and everything was comfortable. We unloaded our bags and spread out. We had been traveling for 9 days. This was our last stop, before heading home. My wife was hobbling around from an injury at another hotel the night before. Anyway, we ordered food and ate dinner and all was going well. At 7:00 p.m., the loud music started. When I say loud, I mean LOUD, mainly because I room was directly above where the event was being held. I called the front desk and asked what the heck was going on. They told me that they had an event going on and that it would last until 11:00 p.m. I asked why we were placed in this room when they knew that they had an event. Their only response was to offer to allow us to move to another room. We decided to stay because it would just be too much of a hassle to move, especially with my wife's injury. That was a mistake, because the music got louder and louder and it lasted after 11:00 p.m. As a Marriott/Bonvoy member and someone who exclusively chooses to stay at Marriott hotels whenever possible, I am very upset by this. I have sent personal messages to Marriott/Bonvoy and I am seriously considering contacting the Village of Schaumburg and discuss their noise ordinances. We will never stay here again AND I will make sure to tell all my friends and family to stay away from this hotel!

  Great place for getting work and play done

  The room was spotless, and everything worked perfectly. The only improvement would be an upgrade to the in-room coffee, but otherwise, everything was fantastic. The gym had exactly what I needed, and a special thanks to Nancy M. and Erin for their excellent service! It would be great if there were a QR code in the room to allow guests to tip housekeeping digitally, as I rarely have cash on hand. Thank you!
