    ROACH MOTEL

STAY AWAY - an unwanted cockroache in my shower 🛀 showering with me, unidentified stains on the wall, dingy wallpaper, and a front desk agent who responded as if it was normal! jennifer ippolito, Guest Services / Front Office at Four Points by Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Airport, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest,Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience while staying with us. Save yourself from this experience PLEASE

I have never been to prison, but I imagine that these rooms and this general stay is quite comparable. The Lobby is composed of a hodgepodge of different and odd decor and the staff at the front desk, if there are any present when you arrive, does not give two craps about any guests. The elevators can fit barely three people and are terrifying. Once you leave the elevator and walk down the ominous hallways, walls made out of cinder block's, you will most likely be greeted with a room that looks like it was cleaned by a toddler. Toilet was off center and the seat was covered in mystery liquids and hairs, the mattress has definitely been thrown up on at some point and, to protect us from this throw up stain there was nothing, no fitted sheet, just a sad sheet tucked around the bed. Also no AC. We stayed here before a trip and had to come back to retrieve our car. The shuttle coming back to the hotel took over 45 minutes to arrive, although it is advertised that it comes every 20-30 minutes. We even called while waiting for the shuttle and were told it would be there shortly. I think every other hotels shuttles passed us twice. It’s 20 degrees in Chicago. A lot of my family works in costumer service and we can understand hiccups or slight delays, and we have stayed in many hotels across the world. I think this was the worst one. If you plan on starting your vacation/ relaxing right when you leave home, or need to return home within two hours of your flight landing, do not book a room here. jennifer ippolito, Guest Services / Front Office at Four Points by Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Airport, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your experience. We apologize your visit was so disappointing. Your feedback has been shared with our team for further review, as we are always looking for ways to do better. Much needed kindness on the other line

    rating10 Nov 2025

My comments are regarding a person I never met.My elderly parents had been waiting at another airport all day delayed like others because of the lack of staffing due to the government shutdown. Unfortunately, they missed their international flight and were stuck in Chicago, an airport unknown to them, for the night. It was nearly midnight and they were overwhelmed with fatigue and confusion, unsure what to do next. Me being in another city, I tried to arrange for a hotel. My initial calls were futile due to unavailable rooms and/or dropped calls. At nearly midnight, when I called Four Points by Sheraton at Chicago O'Hare airport, there was a friendly, peppy voice on the other line. It was enough to relax my shoulders. When she stated there were rooms available I was able to sigh a relief. Without even knowing what my parent's had gone through for the day, she asked to take my parent's name down just to save the room - she didn't ask for a credit card. Thankfully, my parents were able to find a way to the hotel and were similarly greeted by this warm woman. She must work the night shift because my mother was greeted by her upon check-outI am sorry I did not catch your name but your kindness and compassion, your positive attitude, your gestures albeit simple, were enough to ease our worries so we can at least relax for a night. This meant the world to us, giving us hope and energy for the next travel day. We thank you deeply for your genuine compassion. General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at Four Points by Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Airport, responded to this review Dear Charlene, thank you for sharing your heartfelt experience with us. It truly warms our hearts to know that our team member was able to provide your parents with the comfort and care they needed during such a stressful situation. We hope to welcome your parents back under happier circumstances next time. Safe travels always.

    Not worth the savings

    rating10 Nov 2025

This was a miserable experience. The lobby looks really nice but after that it’s like stepping into the 70’s decor. The staff isn’t friendly and the shuttle doesn’t stay on schedule. The shuttle driver actually tried throwing blame at us for missing one stop completely. It was cheaper but I wouldn’t stay here again. The food in the restaurant was good General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at Four Points by Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Airport, responded to this review Hello Delanew,Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. AVOID

    rating22 Oct 2025

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. From the rude front desk workers, to the run down accomodations it is all bad. Literally paper thin walls and we were kept up all night from both the couple next door and hearing every single door close. There was hair in our beds and the icing on the cake was the pick up from the aiport where the driver literally pulled up about 25 feet from the designated spot, opened the door for literally 10 seconds and drove away leaving us standing there with our 3 year old. When I called the front desk to tell them, they did send him right back where I was greeted with his lovely attitude. I would never recommend this hotel. I am actually trying to find an email to contact customer service to ask for a refund at this point...and can't even find that lol. What a nightmare! General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at Four Points by Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Airport, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your experience, B1371QAmeghanm.
