    Our Go-To Hotel in Chicago Area

    The hotel looks great, the rooms are looking good, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is handled with class, including top-notch cooked eggs, sausage, and waffles. This is our go-to hotel when we come to the Chicago area, and we are never disappointed. The clerks, on all shifts, have been great and knowledgeable about all the Hilton properties . The fitness and pool areas are in great shape, and the hotel is clean throughout.

    Admittedly, a Hampton Inn would be one of my first hotel lines to explore for rates while vacationing. We attended a wedding in Chicago this last weekend. The hotel chosen for wedding guests did not allow dogs. I saw that there was a Hampton Inn right across the highway from the chosen wedding hotel that allowed dogs, and I knew it would be in a safe area of town.When we arrived, Allison greeted me with a smile and was so welcoming. She gave me a run-down of the property and times that the amenities were usable. It was an absolute bonus that the 1st floor room we requested was available. It was right near the exit which if the exterior doors close hard, our night could be horribly interrupted. We were so pleasantly surprised when we discovered the doors appeared to be "soft close" doors!!! We were never awakened by a slamming door either exteriorly or interiorly! The hotel was clean and had updated decor. We loved that the surrounding grounds were a dog's paradise. Tons of grass and trees with a city park across the street, to boot!!Our room was clean with the exception of a cobweb in the corner of our bathroom door. I can live with that considering I can't remember the last time we stayed in a hotel, and I didn't find hair in the shower! I love me a white shower like the Hampton Inn's was and not a hair to be found!! We were in a king suite which was huge with a huge bathroom vanity area and a shower/toilet water closet. So awesome! It had an absolutely huge TV that swiveled to face the bed, then to the other direction to the living space. It was completed by a kitchenette area as you first entered the room. The one downfall was the 1st floor ice machine was broken, but in reality, taking the elevator to the 2nd floor was faster and closer!We ate breakfast at the hotel only 1 morning because of our wedding activities. It was a well laid out, clean, and tasty food variety. We would have gladly done round 2, if plans had allowed. The dining area was kept clean and appeared to have ample seating for everyone.Our stay at Burr Ridge was a lovely relaxing one that was also enhanced by the abundance of parking in the front and back of the hotel. Normally, I am leery to park in the back for safety reasons. DO NOT hesitate. I felt incredibly safe in this area of town!!! I should have taken pictures to enhance this review, and I am sorry I did not.

    The hotel is conveniently located near expressways but without the expressway noise. The hotel is very clean and looks relatively new or remodeled recently. I didn’t ask about when it was built or remodeled so I don’t know. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The included breakfast had more options than the usual and changed slightly from day to day.The only thing that was left lacking in my opinion was the pool. Although clean it smelled strongly of disinfectant. I decided not to swim because it was too strong for me.

    My 5 day stay was perfect. It was Extremely Clean, Quiet, Easy access to restaurants and stores, great breakfast with lots of options and changed daily. Modern and contemporary I would definitely stay again and had everything I needed for a great trip.

    Room was nice and spacious with the king suite... Hotel was very clean, staff was excellent at the reception desk. Everyone i came across including housekeeping said hello and smiled. I will continue to stay at this location when in the area.
