    Centrally located quiet property with a modern interior

    Stayed here for an evening and it was a decent experience. Booked via my corporate travel agency and my room was ready upon arrival. Despite requesting for a digital key, my room wasn't ready until I checked-in at the front desk, showed my ID, and provided my payment details...which defeats the purpose of a digital key...The front desk agent seemed tired and didn't want to be there. The property is in the same building as Homewood Suites and share the same facilities. The main lobby is located on the 4th floor as the first 3 floors is parking.The property was convenient, close to my client and merely a 5-10 minute walk from the Orange line station.The room itself was mega spacious and quiet, made using US Steel and glass. Construction quality was top notch.Water pressure in the shower was great. The towels were decent, on par with a Hampton Inn.The mattress was ok, seemed more like a Bonnell spring with the entire mattress shifting with movement... The sheets and blanket were decent.The HVAC did a good job in keeping the room comfortable. The TV was a Smart TV enabling a HDMI connection along with channels on demand.The breakfast downstairs was lackluster, despite premium sausages along with a fruit collection. There are numerous eateries nearby, including a Michelin star restaurant across the street!

    Pros: The breakfast was really good. The location was right near a bus stop which was great too.Cons- The noise was SOOO LOUD. It was 3 in the morning and there was loud music and yelling happening. Super hard to sleep here.They charged me $65 a night for overnight parking. The sign outside the garage said $20 for 24 hours. The $65 didn't even guarantee me a spot and I couldn't find one my second night and had to pay for someplace else. They didn't let me know if was going to be that much when they "added it to my room". That was a large surprise two days later when it posted to my credit card statement.

    Had a cancelled train and decided to stay here due to the affordable rate and closeness to Union Station. Jody and Mary were working the front desk and were extremely pleasant. They were extremely helpful in providing early check in options due to circumstances. Room was clean and comfortable. I ran into the house cleaning staff on the way to check out and they were all smiles. The staff who provided breakfast were amazing. They had smiles on their faces and were also super pleasant as well. I could tell they took a lot of pride in their jobs and they were so nice to talk to. Thanks Pam, Jay and Sylvia for a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning if I’m in the area again. The management must be doing something right because I haven’t had service this good at a hotel in years.

    Very, very nice hotel with interesting and fun layout and options. It has a dual lobby with the Homewood Suites, with separate elevators and breakfast areas. A little confusing at first, with the 2 chains kind of mashed together, and not always well marked. However, the lobby and eating areas were really laid out in an aesthestically pleasing manner and having a beer/margarita wall area was very cool! The King room was beautifully finished, clean, well kept and very comfortable. Very nice experience

    I happened to stay at this hotel twice--at both ends of a recent trip--and I was happy to be a repeat guest. The hotel is close to Chicago Amtrak Union Station and is easy to find. You check-in on the 4th floor then take a separate elevator to the guest floors. The views of downtown Chicago are amazing---right out of travel magazines. The standard morning Hampton Inn breakfast is very extensive and there are plenty of tables. I happened to be in a corner room for one of my stays and I've never been in a standard room with so much space---and windows in two directions. The bathroom was almost as large as some hotel's studio rooms! The rooms were well-appointed and quiet. I thought the price for my room---especially in downtown Chicago---was very good. I would easily stay at this location again and have already told several friends and business associates to give this hotel a try.
