    We stay in Gurnee every year for our annual shopping trip.Danyel was great at the front desk. We were excited to see Berryl for the third time. She is so wonderful and helpful. She even helped us bring things into the hotel. (She is always busy cleaning and always making sure guests are ok)Oh my, the newly renovated rooms are amazing! Very tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and pillows.We love that the sink is outside of the shower area.We will be back next year!

    Danyel and Anna were fabulous at the front desk. Breakfast was a wonderful variety of options. The new upgrades to the hotel are fantastic. A very comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend. Thank you to the fantastic staff and great stay!!

    I had a very mixed experience during my stay. On the positive side, the front desk staff provided excellent service, they were welcoming, helpful, and professional.Unfortunately, the room itself was extremely disappointing. The bathroom shower had black mold, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel. The room did not feel clean overall, which made the stay uncomfortable. Additionally, the AC unit was very loud, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The microwave also malfunctioned, when I tried to use it, it sounded like it was about to explode, which was both alarming and unsafe.On top of all this, the price of the room was definitely overpriced given the poor condition. For the rates being charged, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and safety. Please keep in mind that I use Hilton wherever I go. Overall, while the staff was great, the condition of the room and amenities was far below expectations. I hope management takes these issues seriously because cleanliness, safety, and value should always be top priorities.
