Excellent visit, outstanding staff!

We would absolutely stay here again. The location was outstanding, with restaurants, beach, and Loyola campus at your doorstep. Most impressive, though, were the super friendly, kind, professional staff. Mikayla and Reena at reception, in particular, were so helpful and went above and beyond in helping us out in a challenging travel situation.

Due to a sick family member’s longterm health problems requiring frequent trips to Chicago, we’ve stayed at the Loyola Station Hampton numerous times in the past two years. Interactions with and service from hotel staff - desk clerk, housekeeping, valet have been excellent and our rooms are clean and well appointed. Never wrote a review for the hotel but two incidents today prompted this review: First, the breakfast servers, Angel (and the lovely woman whose name I have forgotten) were especially attentive in ensuring that guests were well fed and satisfied with meal selections. Second, kudos to the chamber maid who when cleaning our room moments after we checked out on 6/11/26, ran downstairs with my prescription glasses I’d left in our hotel room. Luckily she caught us as we were pulling away. Above and beyond. 💕 Many thanks.

Came to town to catch a cubs game. Hotel is in a great location, clean, staff was friendly and the hot breakfast was delicious (thanks Angel and Iris).
