    Here for 4 nights, love the room and free breakfast was nice. Waffles to omelets to biscuits and gravy. Love the hot tea in lobby.

    We were visiting family and there are not very many places to stay. This hotel was great- clean, conveniently located and quiet. Breakfast was good, the oatmeal actually tasted like homemade! The only thing to be cautious of is that the shower pans are quite slick- perhaps the reason there are so many grab bars in the shower.

    Made a reservation at the last minute. Carlos was very helpful and accomodating while I was on the phone. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered a variety of choices. Would definitely go back.

    We found the McHenry, Illinois Hampton Inn thru the Hilton.com site and were hesitant on driving from Twin Lakes, Wisconsin for the overnight, but found this hotel to be a great choice.From check-in to check-out it was a wonderful experience. Leland and Bob at the front desk were helpful, friendly, considerate, polite and knowlegeable and always willing to offer assistance. I met the general manager, Steven Kroll, one day and complimented him and staff on the way the hotel was maintained. There was a consistent effort to attend to the details often overlooked in hotels; HVAC filter changes, painting, parking lot maintenance, organization of the snack area in the lobby, organization of the table and chairs in the breakfast area, etc., etc. DETAILS.We enjoyed our stay and witnessing the care everyone put into their work.

    There was a Karen who yelled at us to stop playing mini sticks when we had just got them out and there was bugs in our room 10 we counted
