Location

The hotel in downtown Chicago, Illinois is an all-suite property in a prime location. Guests can walk to Windy City hot spots such as the John Hancock Center, Lakeshore Drive, Water Tower Place, Magnificent Mile shopping, American Girl, the Museum of Contemporary Art and Northwestern University. This hotel is close to the food and fun of State and Rush Streets. This hotel in Chicago is only a mile north of the Chicago loop, and minutes away from Navy Pier, the famous Merchandise Mart and McCormick Place Convention Center. Chicago O'Hare and Chicago Midway Airports are 45 minutes or less from the hotel.

Facility

345 suites are located on 30 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a games console and WiFi are provided as well. The daily newspaper is laid out for guests in the the rooms. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex includes both indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated. The sun loungers are perfect for soaking up some sun. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including tennis, sailing, a gym, aerobics, a spa and a sauna. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. The restaurant has air conditioning and high chairs for children. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu.

    Arrived and stayed for the pokemon go fest. Had a wonderful experience, the room was clean and felt safe. All the folks were so nice. We did ballet and they took care of our ride.     I wanted to love this place, but found the room to be filthy. Stains were found on the carpet and walls, and the room smelled strongly of mold. One night into our stay my sinuses were swollen from being in the room. The best part of the hotel is the attached cafe. The hotel itself is disappointing at best. This clearly looks like we accidentally have overlooked this area and something that should not have been missed! We have addressed this with the housekeeper as well as our engineering team to correct this for the future. Reviewing your reservation, I see we offered immediate assistance with attending to the room or providing a room move to which you had declined. You had opted for an early departure from your scheduled stay, in which we waived the early departure fee on. Additionally, we provided additional means of compensation for our egregious oversite. We hope outside of this, you were able to enjoy your trip to Chicago.

    The bell staff was outstanding—friendly, polite, incredibly helpful, and fast. They made check-in and check-out seamless, which is saying a lot! Hussein was especially wonderful when we arrived delayed by traffic and rushing to get ready for an event. The bellman who helped us on Sunday (5/24) was also excellent. We used digital check-in ahead of time, which allowed us to skip what looked like a long front desk line, so I’d definitely recommend doing that.The location was fantastic, and our room was very comfortable. We especially appreciated having the two-room setup for the extra space.My only suggestion would be improving the lighting above the vanity area, which was much too dim for doing makeup. Better lighting there would make a big difference.We also loved our view from the 20th floor—even though it was mostly part of the Hancock building and its unique circular parking ramp, it was surprisingly fun to watch, and we could even see a sliver of the lake.     Absolutely the worst customer service of any Hilton property. The front desk manager is rude and condescending. He has no business in a customer facing role. Called to have an emailed receipt and the lady spoke with a tone of annoyance letting me know, “she will send it when she gets to it.” Really? Beautiful hotel but I would stay somewhere with better humans. We apologize for the inconvenience and your frustration of not receiving a copy of your receipt after checking out. Your reservation room + tax was prepaid with a third party. You would not have received a receipt for room + tax due to this. I understand you had some concerns with your incidental hold to which we require all our guests to provide upon check in. As mentioned, the incidental holds are released upon check out, and it does take your bank a few business days for it to reflect in your account. Per your request an incidental receipt was sent to you in terms of additional charges so you can send to your bank so they may attempt to expedite your release.
