    Worst Hilton experience yet

    Almost nonexistent seating in lobby that was filled with piped in air fresher that smelled like they were covering up a smelly cab in NYC, so overpowering we had to leave, that and no seating. Valet service was horrendous and after waiting to get a room, they put us in the wrong room then would not give us the correct room because they gave it to someone else, could not say stay away from this property enough times

    The location is ideal for the museums, they are only a short walk away and this is why we chose this hotel. The rooms were nice and big but ours did smell a bit funny.There is a valet, I booked in advance and the price came down to 50 a night. It was a bit slow so do plan on some extra time. The shop in the hotel wasn’t very well stocked

    No response, no investigation, no accountability

    My experience with this property was extremely disappointing from a service and accountability standpoint.After leaving a high-value electronic device in my room, the hotel failed to follow basic lost-and-found procedures, did not conduct any meaningful investigation, and completely disengaged from communication.I escalated the issue to Hilton corporate, filed a police report, and submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The business never responded, and the case was closed due to lack of cooperation.This is not about the lost item itself, but about the absence of responsibility and guest support. I expected significantly higher standards from a Hilton property.

    Decent enough hotel. Actually 2 hotels and 1 staff. Convenient with the Leiya restaurant, which was quite good. I question the sanitary conditions of the jacuzzi on the 8th floor. Dirty, and lots of long hairs along the sides, in the water and on the foam, even though I was one of the very first to use it, one morning. And the pool was not looking that much better. It felt awful. The staff would not explain how the key worked with the elevator, when I checked in. Otherwise they were friendly and helpful, for the most part. You can find better hotels in Chicago for lesser money, although I got a great deal through my airline. The location is good, though. Close to Roosevelt Station. Plenty of restaurants and stores in the immediate area. Room was ok,, nothing to really complain about. Next time I am choosing another hotel, though.

    If it is not your last option, try another one !The hotel meets expectations in terms of price and performance.Pros;-Affordable price comparing to the ones in city center or near the riverThats all...Cons;-Rude, impolite staff.. For example, the front desk clerk told me "come here" to let me know that my room is ready.. without "please".. something like we are in army or I am her "pet"... or as if I am in a hostel or highway motel!-The air condition in room did not stop although it is automated. Pressing the button "off" does not work.-The location is not the best. Yes it is not far from city center, the river, magnificent mile etc. But the surroundings are not "wow". Also, all of staff said that it is unsafe after night time.
