    This hotel was amazing! We actually went there for a women’s retreat for about 30 women. They accommodated us so nicely and went beyond to make everything perfect. Everything was great from the rooms to the conference room. I also want to personally shout out Ms. Kristina for being amazing and making the two days amazing. I don’t have words to express how helpful and patient she was with us.     Extremely Disappointing Stay at Holiday Inn (June 12 Weekend)We stayed at this Holiday Inn in Chicago for my cousin’s wedding weekend, and the experience was horrible from start to finish.Breakfast every morning was a mess. There were only 2 servers for a full dining area, and they were clearly not professional. One of them was harsh from the beginning. On the first day, it took over 1.5 hours just to get my breakfast, which I had to take to-go because I was helping with the wedding. The next day, they served a “buffet” with cold bread and no toaster. We had to keep begging for coffee, salt, and any condiments—only to be met with cold, unfriendly responses. This pattern repeated for all 4 days of our stay.On top of that, when we asked for extra towels, they demanded the old ones be returned first. Who does that in a hotel?To make matters worse, my cousin’s room AC was broken for 2 full days, and her kids were suffering in the heat. Despite multiple complaints, no prompt action was taken. 3rd day they had ONE CLEANING DAY FOR WHOLE DAY for entire hotel! Front desk kept charging me extra, I had to recheck and kept asking them to fix it. They charged my cousin double.Overall, the service was unacceptable, the staff was unhelpful and rude, and the stay was far below Holiday Inn standards. I would never recommend this location, especially for important family events.     The bed was nice and comfy, it also had a great shower, and the room was super clean! They also have a great workout room. Treadmills, ellipticals, and free weights. The manager Antonio was so helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back!     CHRIS is awesome at the bar. !! Makes you very comfortable and great conversational. The food served is always spot on accurate and served with a smile. The whole establishment is very nice, impressive even. Front desk staff is also extremely professional and knowledgeable and DON'T corner about the absolutely beautiful pool.
