    Great Hotel Front Desk Staff !!!

    He an excellent stay . The front desk staff was outstanding. Elizabeth and Sian was great and helpful. They both were very friendly and nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I left my charger in the room. When I got home I called to see if it was turned in. April ( front desk) answered and went out of her way to look for it . She found it and shipped it back to me . They even called me to let me know it was on its way. That’s great customer service. I will stay there again on my next trip to Chicago!

    Worst experience rude manager Nick

    I had an awful experience at this Holiday Inn.When I discovered bed bugs in my room, it took the manager, Nick, more than 8 hours of excuses before I was finally switched. While I was trying to collect my belongings, he came into the room and sprayed chemicals while I was still inside, which made me sick. Instead of apologizing, he told me “if there were bugs, they came from your food,” laughed with another employee, and even threatened that if I “made a mess” he wouldn’t be able to rent to me again.The next morning, he told me I “spilled food on the mattress” and that they would probably charge me for a new one. A few days later, after I sent him an email asking for an apology, I was suddenly hit with a $700 charge for a mattress I never damaged.This felt like pure retaliation for reporting the bed bugs. I have stayed in many hotels and never left a negative review before, but this treatment was unprofessional, unsafe, and unacceptable.Avoid this location if you value honesty, safety, and fair treatment.     Nice clean room, Quiet except for traffic on Milwaukee Avenue. Bed was very good. I liked the roll in shower for my wife. Breakfast was adequate. Close in for shopping and visiting. Every one on staff was pleasant and helpful. Very modern re-do. I stayed here before it became a Holiday Inn.

    I always stay at this hotel when I'm town to work at the nearby airport (KPWK) and I highly recommend it. I'm an IHG Diamond Elite member so I've stayed at my share of hotels. The staff here is second to none and the accommodations are clean and comfortable. Plus, the internet is stable and fast enough for streaming Netflix, YouTube, etc.

    A bad breakfast and stay

    We stayed for two nights ( May 3 and 4 ). We had a noisy air conditioner. It is also noted that there was a red substance on both of our bed night stands. Our first morning consisted of the free breakfast. I had scrambled eggs, bacon and some bread. We left after breakfast to visit family. Two hours after eating I got very sick to my stomach. I believe there was something wrong with my eggs as my wife didn't get sick because she didn't eat any eggs. As of this writing my stomach is still not good.Our second night consisted of fireworks at Midnight. There was also a car alarm that kept going off from 1 am until we checked out at 4 am. We have stayed at this property for the last 4 years but this experience has us questioning whether to stay again next year. 150 bucks for a night of virtually no sleep is unacceptable.
