    Holiday Inn Express Chicago NW - Arlington Heights by IHGSo far. Nice. Clean. This Holiday Inn did some major light updates. Nice blue lights. Normally it's green.Great breakfast. I feel I should mention that our room was almost perfect. We had an ant issue. While we were in our room, a large group of ants invaded our room. We were at level 3. They mostly attacked my open coke pop can and they crawled all over my wife while she was sleeping. I told the front counter and they gave us a replacement room, but the replacement room had cigar smells. It was a handicap room, but the person before us clearly was smoking a lot. Other than those two issues, the hotel was fine.Highly Recommended.     Not the best choice for shuttle to and ORD

    This hotel is clean and comfortable with typical HIE breakfast. It is over 6 miles from ORD so I would not recommend for people without a car.The shuttle leaves the hotel for airport once on the hour but not early enough for early morning flights. That means taxi or ride share which will cost $20-25 if you are lucky. If you are waiting for airport pick up timing is everything because it is once after the guest drop off. We were not there on weekend but others commented on lack of shuttle on weekends.I recommend calling other hotels to check their shuttle service before booking this one.If you are driving this would be a fine choice for a lower cost hotel that is clean and comfortable with safe free parking and welcoming helpful staff. Johnnie’s Beef Roast Sandwiches is steps away and has delicious sandwiches and fries. Add the peppers!

    Consistently High Standards, Great Place to Stay.

    This is our second stay at the Holiday Inn Express Chicago NW - Arlington Heights in the past 2 months. After coming in May for a graduation weekend, we came in this time for a quick overnight stay before flying out of O'Hare in the morning. It's a short 15 minutes from the airport. The hotel is clean, the room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast is always great. That staff is incredibly helpful. I especially appreciated how helpful and courteous Javier was at the front desk. This is a great hotel and we will be back again.

    Incompent Workers NO WEEKEND Shuttles HOW HOAKY!!

    I went because the other park and fly hotel was booked. I checked in telling them 5 night stay which meant leaving SUNDAYWhen I arrived at the airport called for a shuttle they told me sorry no shuttles on weekends. Had they told me that I'd have surely booked another hotel INCREDIBLE INCOMPETENCE!!!     I booked this hotel because of the shuttle, but I didn't realize that it doesn't run on the weekends, so we had to pay for a Lyft for our return trip to O'Hare. We also had to call the hotel in order to get picked up from the airport. The shuttle did take us to a nearby restaurant so that we could eat dinner, and then it picked us up. Beds were comfortable and the Breakfast Buffet was very good!
