    The hotel is unique. We were greeted with the best greeting from Fidel Bellman. The ladies at the desk were also welcoming. I travel a lot for military duty and this hotel was very military friendly. I would recommend.

    Fidel went so above and beyond to make our stay the best he possibly could, a chance encounter in the elevator led to him taking full care of our luggage and return on our check out day, hailing a taxi and making all the way sure we made our return flight. Also shout to Gwen who was beyond kind at the front desk, we had a room concern that she made her personal mission to resolve. EMC2 take note! These are 2 of your best employees, thank you for a wonderful stay.

    The customer service provided by the team at the hotel is awesome! Destiny and her team went above and beyond to provide a special surprise for one of your guests celebrating a birthday. She took extra time to assist me and was very helpful with suggestions. The birthday girl loved it! Thanks for an amazing experience.

    I rarely write reviews, but this experience truly deserves recognition.From the moment I checked in, Nia Jackie at the front desk provided some of the best customer service I have seen in my **10 years in hospitality**. They were warm, professional, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making every guest feel valued.The outstanding service didn't stop there. The **PM maintenance associate** was friendly and helpful, the **Iraqi valet attendant** was exceptional, and the **bellman** was always courteous, professional, and eager to assist with a smile. Housekeeping also did an amazing job throughout my stay, keeping everything spotless and ensuring a comfortable experience.A special thank you to the AM front desk team that assist me with the checkout process on Saturday morning**. Despite a very busy morning, she greeted every guest with genuine warmth, remained calm and professional, and delivered exceptional service with a smile. It was impressive to watch such a dedicated team in action during a busy shift.As an **Assistant General Manager of a Marriott hotel**, I see hospitality every day and understand how difficult it is to consistently deliver exceptional service.     My stay at Hotel EMC2 was excellent, but the highlight was the outstanding assistance I received from Fidel.I enjoy using public transportation when I travel, and I needed to get from the hotel to Midway Airport during rush hour. Fidel took the time to write out detailed yet incredibly simple instructions that made the trip effortless. He mapped out exactly which trains to take, where to transfer, and even noted the escalators, tunnels, and landmarks I would encounter along the way.The result? A completely stress-free journey. While a Lyft was quoting $71, the train cost just $3, avoided Chicago traffic entirely, and got me to the airport without a single issue. Everything worked exactly as Fidel described.Great hotels provide comfortable rooms and good service. Exceptional hotels have team members like Fidel who genuinely care about helping guests have a better experience. His local knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile turned what could have been a stressful airport transfer into one of the easiest parts of my trip.Thank you, Fidel, and thank you Hotel EMC2 for employing people who make guests feel so well taken care of. I’ll absolutely stay here again.
