    This hotel is excellent, within walking to the Chicago Union Station. This hotel is our go hotel when we visit Chicago. If you arrive before checkin, they will store you bags for free allowing you to start visiting the site. Awesome location!!

    I had a reservation at this hotel but due to the inadequate standard of rooms, I didn’t stay here. Upon arrival my first room smelled of smoke, I asked to move rooms and was moved to a second room that smelled of chlorine. I asked to move again if possible and was told no as all rooms smell the same which isn’t true as the first room didn’t. The reception staff told me that they couldn’t move me to another room as it’s inconvenient for them to clean the rooms. I had to stay in another hotel as they refused to change my room and never returned my security deposit. I had to dispute it through my bank. It’s been 1 month and they still haven’t refunded my entire stay despite numerous follow ups.     Some issues, but friendly and helpful staff

    We went for a long weekend to meet up with family. There were some issues with the room (sheets/pillows/blankets for sofa bed, toilet wouldn’t flush, remote didn’t work, etc), but the staff fixed everything quickly and were friendly about it. Watch the mini-fridge - it kept freezing our items no matter what setting. Otherwise, location was good and they have parking not too far away. It was a little pricey for what we got, but it’s where family wanted to stay, so we paid it. There may be better locations based on what you want to see while you’re there.
