    Exceptional Service in the Heart of Fulton Market

    My stay at Hyatt House Chicago West Loop Fulton market was outstanding from start to finish. Teh exceptional service began the moment I arrived, when a valet greeted me immediately, assisted with my luggage, escorted me to the front desk, and even brought me water after my long drive. The hotel is perfectly located in the Fulton Market District and within walking distance of my conference at Morgan Manufacturing. My room was spacious, quiet, spotless, and offered plenty of workspace along with a great city view. While the price was on the higher side, the service, atmosphere, and location made it worthwhile. I did ask for a replenishment of the water and coffee in my room, which was there when I returned from a long meeting. I would definitely stay here again.     Friendly and helpful staff, chic location

    Front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. They attended to my needs constantly throughout my 6-day stay. You can feel the warmth and kindness of the people. I also like the location which is in the center of West Loop and such a walkable and beautiful neighborhood. (I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that they're right above The Original Pancake House.)     Spacious and clean suite. Nice lounge and breakfast area. Parking is quite expensive but you can park in the parking ram nearby. We would come back.     Disappointing experience

    I recently stayed at the Hyatt House Chicago / West Loop-Fulton Market during a conference trip. While the hotel itself was comfortable and conveniently located, I unfortunately had a disappointing experience with housekeeping and customer service.When I returned to my room one evening, I noticed that a paper bag was missing from the desk. It contained a gift I had purchased for my daughter, along with some conference papers and receipts. The room had been serviced earlier that day, and the housekeeper had left a card with her name on it.Although the missing items were not of major monetary value, it was upsetting because I had no opportunity to replace the gift before my early morning checkout the next day. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk and provided the housekeeping card. I was assured they would follow up with housekeeping and contact me if the items were found so they could be shipped to me.At checkout the following morning, another front desk associate again took my contact information and promised an update. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up communication. I later called the hotel multiple times and was eventually advised to email the manager, which I did, including a separate message to the guest services manager. To date, I have received no response.What has been most frustrating is not just the missing item itself, but the complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through from hotel management. I expected much better customer service from a Hyatt property.
