    A pleasant hotel stay in Lombard.

    The hotel is fairly quiet, my room was quite large, and the breakfast was outstanding. There are several restaurants within a 10-minute walk (although pay attention to which routes have sidewalks). Highly recommended.

    Traveler Beware of this Hotel

    We would not recommend this somewhat out of the way hotel for the business or casual traveler who needs rest and a quiet place to stay. It is very noisy with kids running up and down the halls most of the night. Doors slam constantly. No quiet hours are posted to my recollection. As we left our room to find a place to eat, we were confronted by a man who seemed impaired but very familiar with the hotel. It seems to be a hotel frequented by families who use the pool and free breakfast. The bar was also busy. The smell of cleaning products is overwhelming. Landscaping is sad (e.g., plastic flowers) and the parking lot is crowded and not well lit in the back. Other than the smell, our room was typical Hyatt Place, although not updated. Beds were good.
