Location

This hotel is located only around 3 km from the Magnificent Mile. Many sights of interest such as the Adler Planetarium, the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum and the Soldier's Field are all to be found within the immediate vicinity.

Facility

800 rooms are located on 33 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. There is also a washing machine, an ironing set, a trouser press and a tumble dryer. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming. A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and golf are available. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy jet skiing and sailing. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, squash and aerobics. A spa and a sauna are available in the wellness area.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Great Location, New Renovated Rooms, and FULL service hotel!

    Renovated Rooms, neat and tidy, and for once a near 'full service' hotel experience in the US. After all our Hyatt Place stays and Courtyard etc this was little different to have full facilities.One thing though for the rate we paid, breakfast could have easily been included for the high rates paid. In India, for a fraction of the rates hotels give FULL buffet breakfasts. I am well aware of how little it actually costs a hotel!!But otherwise, we got daily house keeping (another basic requirement in any hotel across India and Asia but clearly not in the US), had one meal in the hotel, rest was across Chicago (all excellent btw, reviewed separately). Thanks to the hotel for the complimentary parking, so much appreciated.I will most definitely be back in the future.

    Everything was good except for no living room furniture in our King Room! Had to sit on the bed. There was ample space in the room for furniture.     Chemical smell

    The room had an off putting chemical smell - it was burning my eyes and I was concerned about what I was breathing in. If it wasn’t the middle of the night, I would have moved rooms. The air conditioning wasn’t able to cool down the room sufficiently The alarm clock went off in the middle of the night.     Good location for convention attendees

    We just stayed for the night to attend a graduation. It was easy to access on the south side of Chicago. There is self parking attached to building that is safe. It's $40 day. The hotel itself is clean and if you are attending a convention, perfect location. Otherwise, it's not really walking distance to anything.
