Great Location, New Renovated Rooms, and FULL service hotel!
11 Jun 2026
Renovated Rooms, neat and tidy, and for once a near 'full service' hotel experience in the US. After all our Hyatt Place stays and Courtyard etc this was little different to have full facilities. One thing though for the rate we paid, breakfast could have easily been included for the high rates paid. In India, for a fraction of the rates hotels give FULL buffet breakfasts. I am well aware of how little it actually costs a hotel!!But otherwise, we got daily house keeping (another basic requirement in any hotel across India and Asia but clearly not in the US), had one meal in the hotel, rest was across Chicago (all excellent btw, reviewed separately). Thanks to the hotel for the complimentary parking, so much appreciated.I will most definitely be back in the future.

Everything was good except for no living room furniture in our King Room! Had to sit on the bed. There was ample space in the room for furniture. Chemical smell
10 Jun 2026
The room had an off putting chemical smell - it was burning my eyes and I was concerned about what I was breathing in. If it wasn’t the middle of the night, I would have moved rooms. The air conditioning wasn’t able to cool down the room sufficiently The alarm clock went off in the middle of the night. Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Other at Hyatt Regency Mccormick Place Chicago, responded to this review Hello hcoops7,Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the multiple issues you experienced during your stay. The chemical odor you described is very concerning, and we regret the discomfort it caused. We are also sorry that the air conditioning did not cool the room properly and that the alarm clock disturbance interrupted your rest. This is not the experience we want for our guests.Your comments will be shared with our team so these concerns can be addressed and corrected. If you are open to it, we would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your stay. Please feel free to reach out to us at propertyreviews@hyatt.com.We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a much more comfortable and restful visit in the future.Sincerely,Toya O.

Good location for convention attendees
09 Jun 2026
We just stayed for the night to attend a graduation. It was easy to access on the south side of Chicago. There is self parking attached to building that is safe. It's $40 day. The hotel itself is clean and if you are attending a convention, perfect location. Otherwise, it's not really walking distance to anything. Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Other at Hyatt Regency Mccormick Place Chicago, responded to this review Hello,Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We’re so glad to hear that our location worked well for your visit and that you found the hotel clean and convenient—especially for attending events and conventions here in the Windy City 😊We appreciate your mention of the self-parking option and understand your perspective on pricing, as well as your note about walkability. Your feedback is helpful for fellow travelers planning their stay and for us as we continue to enhance the overall guest experience.Thank you again for choosing to stay with us, and we hope to welcome you back the next time your travels bring you to Chicago!Safe & Happy Travels,Mike M.
