    I really like this hotel. It has 4 square courtyard style segments to the building. Create a very quiet environment where you’re separated from the other guests. Everything is very convenient here. Restaurant in house, steakhouses next door. Huge forest preserve down the street.The hotel has large convention space and this weekend in particular there was a lot of interesting people dressed up. I enjoy hanging out in the lobby to grab a bite to eat and people watch.This hotel really should be rated higher.     Fun but issues.

    Fun time some issues. The bar closes early. Don't believe the 11:00 11:30 advertised time. Our room next door had a plate of food outside their room our whole stay while house keeping walked by.     Worst experience ever, most unprofessional attitude from "Alex" if that was his real name...

    I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life at this Hyatt property.During my stay, there was a serious incident involving a pipe burst and fire alarm, which resulted in my room being completely flooded. While I understand that accidents can happen, what is completely unacceptable is how poorly the situation was handled by management—especially a staff member named Alex.When I approached Alex to get help, he was dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. When I asked for his full name, he arrogantly responded that I “didn’t need to know more”( he is the Inaidan guy in case his name is not Alex).This alone speaks volumes about the lack of accountability at this hotel.Initially, he told me I had to wait for the fire department to remove the water from my room. This made absolutely no sense, as the room was already flooded, with soaked carpets everywhere, and clearly uninhabitable. When I questioned this and pushed for a solution, he became defensive and essentially told me to leave, offering no real assistance or alternatives.To make matters worse, when my wife spoke to him shortly after, he told her we should stay in the flooded room—even under those unsafe and unacceptable conditions. Only after she insisted multiple times were we finally moved, around 3 AM, to another room—which was dirty and not properly prepared. This should have been handled immediately, not hours later.Alex is, without question, the worst hotel staff member I have ever encountered. He showed zero understanding of customer service, no empathy, and a completely unacceptable attitude. His behavior reflects extremely poor management standards.The rest of the staff were not particularly helpful either, but at least they were not outright rude like him.This is especially disappointing because this trip is something we do every year—but after this experience, we will never stay here again.
