    Water Log Golf Resort

    Furniture needs to be updated. The property was flooded due to excessive rain. Couldn’t golf because of the moat surrounding the hotel. We received a letter on our last night stating the hotel was expecting to reach major flood levels. Guest were informed that their belongings would be removed from the room if they were not on-site. We altered our plans to go into the city and choose to stay near the property in case we needed to vacate. When asked for compensation for the inconvenience, hotel management refused. Really disappointing. So much for the Bonvoy loyalty membership.     Mediocre, small rooms, outdated

    I stayed for 10 nights on a business trip. The hotel and room are surprisingly outdated. Rooms are small. And the hotel itself is huge so it takes forever to walk anywhere. There is an on-site movie theater which is cool, although I didn’t use it. The spa was nice - I got a massage and facial although one of them was late for my appointment. Overall it was disappointingly mediocre. I would not stay here again.     Hospitality at its best

    We were in town for a wedding where we both would participate in the ceremony. However, the hotel we originally stayed in was very old (built in 1972 and renovated in 2009). We could not sleep due to noises coming from the AC and other machinery. We went to the Marriott Resort and Edvardo at the front desk let us check out the AC in a hotel room to address our concern before finding us a super quiet room on the 3rd floor. We got the much needed rest and were able to fully enjoy the wedding. We are extremely grateful for his hospitality. It is a very nice resort and we highly recommend it!     The WORST EVER!!

    Paid over $335 for ONE night, and the room faced the children’s sandy play area. No trees, lake, view, nothing!!! I believe one of their descriptions of there rooms, they ALL have a view!!! I travel quite a bit, and this hotel was the worst!! Smelled like sewage, the toilet constantly ran, there was a wedding reception and the music continued until 11:45. In addition, found a used piece of toilet paper in the bedding.I believe there is ONE bank of elevators. The distance to my room was unbelievably far…whoever planned this building needs to go back to school!!!They also say they have room service. I don’t know how this is possible when there are no menus in the room??? This could be a plus, because after having dinner at the “bistro” in the hotel, any fast food would have been better. If you like to chew on shoe leather, this place is for you!!!Oh…and no safes in the room…never have I seen such a thing!!!!The front desk person was pleasant, but you could tell she really didn’t give a sh*t!!! The only good thing I can say is that they let me check in early. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!     Dated & Creepy!

    This hotel is not worthy of a Marriott status! The building looks like a combination between a hospital and college dormitory. Our suite was dated, dirty and dimly lit. The carpet was dirty and stinky. The oversized conference style table and chairs consumed the space. The bed was lumpy. The towels were thin and dingy. There was one small bathroom sink in this suit. The only mirror throughout the room was over the bathroom sink. There was not a full length mirror. The toilet and bathtub/shower combo were in a separate dimly lit room with no light over the shower area. When the shower curtain was closed it was very dark. Also, there was not a shower wand. This hotel gives a very creepy vibe and in great need of a renovation!
