    Just horrifying experience......It was a very hot day,I was anxious to get there and relax,but instead I was forced to leave that smelly,stuffy place!!! There was NO conditioning on in the lobby& very unfriendly clerk.I booked non-smoking,de-luxed,kingsized 🛏️....,When I arrived,she told ME,that they have only smoking,double beds and I can have that for the same price.....Just unbelievable, unexpetable,thatI should take that or cancel reservation with a rude tone of her voice!!!.Just shocking,so unreal!!!!She said,that she cancelled for Me,but she didn't, because I checked later and it was still there.Dishonest rude, awful individual.I wouldn't recommend motel 6 in Villa Park to anyone!!!

    Simply, horrible! I reserved a handicap room with a fridge and a microwave. Needless to say when we arrived to check in we got to a room that was totally opposite, of anything humanly comparative, to what I requested. I ask, what's the point of making a reservation when you already know you have no intentions of holding a room for any person. The deceitful way this business operates is despicable and it gives any other decent motel/hotel a bad stain because of their negligence and lack of empathy for anybody's personal safety or well-being. I hate liars! The moment you open the door the billows of old stale, musty, cigarette smoke overwhelm you and as far as house cleaning there wasn't anything that I was willing to sit down my personal possessions on without cleaning it myself. If it had not been for us traveling on the road all day and physically me just needing to be able to supposedly "rest", we never would have stayed overnight and because of everything the filthiness the overwhelming smoke and mildew smell the people hanging off the railing up above, very unsettling. We were up and getting prepared to leave by 6:00 in the morning although check up isn't until 11:00 a.m., there was no way I was going to spend any additional time in that place. I'm attaching a filth covered wash cloth of theirs, that I used to scrub every door handle, table, banquet and the single hard chair. I cleaned the toilet, the bathroom counter, the remote. I slept in my clothes on top of the cover (thin as a sheet) and shower in the early morning, so I spend no time without a barrier between my body and their rancid hell hole. This is not an option then in your vehicle overnight is a safer and better prospect than this hell hole.     Sorry, I hate to leave bad reviews. But I just have to do this to warn other people from coming here. The whole place feels rundown and scary. Smelled like weed. Room door wouldn’t lock. Not only that, but I think Motel 6’s whole new redesign has really hurt them. The bare tile floors, the new ‘subway look’, it makes the whole place feel cold and not welcoming. I would definitely not recommend this place. Pay a little more and go to the Sheraton four seasons down the street.     Great front desk staff. newly renovated rooms Rooms was nice and clean .     ROACHES!!! MANAGER SAYS NOOOOO REFUND

    My 1st time staying. Room was beautiful then i was horrified by a ROACH!!! reported it and asked for a refund. Spoke with manager today he stated the roach probably came in because of the rain.but had someone check and didnt see one. Roach due to rain was the same excuse from Nick last night when i left and reported it. I am appalled that this establishment knows its infested and wont provide refunds. They should be shut down. DONT COME HERE UNLESS U WANT TO TAKE HOME NEW FAM...ROACHES!!!!!
