  Serene and Sexy 40th

  25 Jun 2026

This hotel never fails to impress. We came for my husband’s 40th birthday and they did a little champagne surprise and card for him. The room is stunning, and the bathroom is a complete dream overlooking Randolph. Best of all, greeted with a warm towel, tea and the best doorman to help you bring your bags to your room, Derrick! Five stars every time, this hotel will keep me coming back. Robert Prohaska, Owner at Nobu Hotel Chicago, responded to this review Dear W5567PMkatek,Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review of your recent stay with us! Above and beyond!

  24 Jun 2026

I visited the restaurant at Nobu Chicago with some colleagues while in town for business, and ordered an Uber to our next destination. The Uber app repeatedly shifted our pick up location to a general festival pick up location, multiple blocks away, despite no festival happening (one was set to begin in approximately 1 month per the hotel staff). While we tried to get the location fixed in the app and drivers cancelled our pick ups, Derrick, the amazing bellman, took charge and called the driver on our behalf to advise him of the situation and to get him to pick us up at the hotel as the driver could only follow the instructions on the app and did not actually see where we had requested pick up. While the Uber experience itself was a disappointment due to being overcharged, Derrick made a tremendous difference in ensuring we felt cared for by taking charge of the situation and getting three out of towners where they needed to go. Robert Prohaska, Owner at Nobu Hotel Chicago, responded to this review Dear 544kamariw,Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! While we are so sorry to hear about the frustrating glitches and overcharges you experienced with your rideshare, we are incredibly proud that Derrick was there to step in and save the day.Navigating a busy city during a business trip can be stressful enough without technology pushing your pickup blocks away. Derrick truly embodies the level of care and proactive service we strive for at Nobu Hotel Chicago, and we are thrilled that he was able to take charge, coordinate with your driver, and get you and your colleagues safely to your next destination. We have shared your wonderful feedback directly with Derrick to ensure he receives the official recognition he deserves. Thank you again for making us aware of his efforts, and we hope to welcome you back the next time business brings you to Chicago!Sincerely,Robert ProhaskaGeneral Manager
